10 Class Drama

'Do you know true happiness?

Have you ever felt the pure feeling that is undiluted happiness?

Oh! It's an incredible feeling, you see,...

A feeling lighter than the fluffiest feather...

Sweeter than the taste of honey at its finest...

Richer than a greedy king's ice cream serving...

Dreamier than being up in the clouds and watching the sun set upon a rainbow...

You wake up feeling like strawberry and chocolate, like cookies and cream, sugar spice and everything nice!

That's how I feel this morning.

The feeling of meeting one's idol face to face cannot be described.

Describing its after effect is an even harder task.

I saw Reo's gorgeous face yesterday...

His entrancing gaze captured me...

His gentle fingers touched my skin...

His perfect lips imprinted the back of my palm...

And now, my life can never be the same again!

Images of him warmly embraced me to sleep through the night and kissed me awake this morn.

My heart has turned green with his shirt...

My brains, a dark brown tint with his eyes...

My ears resonate with the enchanting melody of his voice...

My guts curl into knots with the curls of his dark hair...

My butterflies are now fireflies, glowing bright with the sparkle of his flaming hot skin...

My nostrils still retain the sweet aroma of his fragrance...

And with every blink, my eyelashes flutter to the fascinating sight of the beauty spot on his bottom lip...

All I can think about is Reo...

My Reo...

And I couldn't be happier....'

...

Ciara leaned against the window sill of her bedroom window, staring into the morning and expressing her deepest thoughts to the winds.

Her left arm was placed flat on the window sill to support her weight whilst her right palm cupped the right side of her jaw, holding up her scrambled brains.

Expecting to retain sanity after meeting Reo was like taking a deep dive into the centre of the oceans and wishing not to get wet. That would be impossible. Ciara knew it well. Her sanity was long gone and she couldn't care less.

A huge smile plastered her flushed face as she gazed out the window with dreamy eyes, looking stupid in love.

Through love's lens, the spring day was suddenly brighter.

The sun, happier.

The passing breeze, sweeter.

The roses, rosier

The singing birds, louder, and

All colours shone brighter.

A fresh ray of sunlight hit her skin. Ciara's happy glow sparkled through the room again, re-announcing her undeniable beauty.

She took in another refreshing, deep breath of the morning breeze, and then she was ready to start her day.

...

Ciara hit Play on her favourite playlist and was soon carried away with the cheerful rhythm of 'Steam' blaring through her Bluetooth speaker.

She danced away in her pyjamas, wiggling her limbs and hips to the delightful tune. Her movements were free and unrestrained, matching her mood. From time to time, she would throw in a headbanger or some other nameless, silly dance step into the mix and then laugh at her awkward poses. She was no dancer, after all.

...

Her occasional giggles soon awakened Snow who had been laying quietly in the corner. He immediately joined in the dance, excitedly hopping up and down on his hind legs after Ciara.

She giggled again.

"Haha! Good Snow! Work it! Yeah! Just like that! Haha!", she encouraged him.

Snow barked for joy, giving his all to his energetic hopping.

"Aww... you really are the cutest.", Ciara complimented the furry puppy with a kiss.

Then she thought it would be fun for them both to try Steam's complex choreography for the song, 'Spring Break'.

"Like this... and that!... And a-1! 2! 3! Go! To the left!... and now to the right!... And Up! And down! And Spin!... Wooo!!!", Ciara the dance instructor and her furry puppy, tried to replicate memorable parts of the choreo. Their attempt ended in an epic fail when she lost her footing and landed flat on her butt!

She burst out in hysterical laughter.

...

Knock. Knock. Knock.

"Sweetie?", a gentle voice filtered in right before Ciara's bedroom door opened.

"Morning sweetie. Jamming to Steam are we?", Miss Tina, Ciara's mom asked with a brilliant smile.

"Mom! Good morning!...", Ciara turned the volume down before greeting her with a tight hug.

Mom chuckled.

"Glad to see you so happy. I'm heading off to the hospital now.", she informed with soft music in the background.

"...But you were at the hospital all night. You need to get some rest mom.", Ciara said with a pout.

"I know darling. Work hours are longer these days, but don't worry. I'll get more time off on the weekend, ok?", mom promised Ciara with a kiss on her forehead.

She wouldn't say she was working extra hours to save up enough to get Ciara a designer's workshop. That was her own little secret.

"Huff...Ok.", Ciara sighed in response.

"Now go get ready or you'll be late for school. It's already 7 am!", mom added.

"What!? Owww shxt! And I have to use the subway today!"

Ciara exclaimed as she rushed into her bathroom to get ready.

That quickly caught her mom's attention.

"Subway? You hate the subway. What happened to your skateboard?"

"Ah, It's a long story mom. I'll tell you when I get back. Don't worry, the story has a happy ending!", Ciara screamed her reply from the bathroom.

"Alright, dear. I'm off! I'll drop Liam off at kindergarten on my way out... Love you.", Mom called back before leaving.

"Sure. Love you too! Have a nice day!", Ciara called back through toothpaste.

She hit play again and raised the volume, her heart thumping to the sweet tune of love.

...

Ciara couldn't stop smiling all day.

She smiled as she brushed her teeth,

Smiled as she scrubbed her pits n tits,

Smiled as she brushed her long, wavy orange hair,

Smiled through breakfast,

Smiled through the streets,

Smiled through class,

And even smiled through recess when basically everyone was expecting her to be down in the dumps over her exposed crush on Reo.

...

" I don't get it. She's supposed to be too embarrassed to even step foot here today, yet look at her. She's acting like she's on top of the world! Flipping her hair through the halls like she owns the place!", an upset Sonia complained to her bixchy clique of 3.

"Yeah! She's so pretty today. It's like she's glowing. I even caught Luke starting at her during English!", Priscilla, the dumbest of the 3 added salt to injury.

Sonia's frown deepened. She stared daggers at her friend, Priscilla.

"Shut it, Priscilla! Are you trying to compliment her or what?! Luke is mine. He only has eyes for me.", she warned.

"Of course, Sonia.", Priscilla submitted to queen bixch, Sonia.

Susan, the smarter co-bixch rolled her eyes.

"I don't even know what this fool is talking about. The prince of our school (Luke) adores you, Sonia. Ciara can never get his attention.", she said, supporting Sonia's annoyance with Priscilla.

"Well, let's see how long she can stay happy. I'll wipe that smirk off her face.", Sonia sneered evilly.

...

The next class was History, and to Ciara it was history...

Again her distracted eyes found the trees outside a more interesting picture to space out on as she thought about last night with Reo.

...

In the background, another pair of beautiful grey eyes stared at glowing Ciara...

'Was she always this beautiful?', Luke asked himself.
