The Kim’s Contract

U-Ram rolled his eyes as Mr. Vim gave him the contract file. "Check it." Mr. Vim smirked and glanced at Jung-Hoon with a smirk on his lips. "What?" U-Ram was shocked while reading the contract file and it was causing Mr. Vim to smirk more widely. "You signed on it. Now, your new project with Mr. Kim, it's mine." He said sarcastically, making Jung-Hoon's blood boil. "Why did you do that?" U-Ram asked, disgusted by Mr. Vim's plan. "Because I want this contract." He said calmly, causing them to close their eyes in anger. "You—Ha-Yoon tried to reach him to grasp Mr. Vim's collar, but stopped when Seo-Jin held his wrist. "Let's go." U-Ram said calmly, making others let out a sigh through stress.

Syanja was doing her work on the laptop while listening to soft music. She was focused on the screen and didn't bother to glance at her surroundings. Hyun-Tae sat beside her and smiled before tapping her shoulder to catch her attention. Syanja flinched as Hyun-Tae tapped her shoulder. She immediately looked beside her and put her headphones off. "Hey," Syanja waved her hand and greeted her with a euphoric voice, causing his heart to pound. “Do you want something?” She asked sweetly, making him smile. “I just wanna talk to you, can i?” she nodded with a bright smile on her face. “Sure.” Hyun-Tae shook his head and smiled back. “On my birthday party, how did you fall into the pool?” Syanja's eyes widened and glanced at him in shock. "Why do you wanna know about it?" Syanja's gaze turned into a cold one as she recalled the memories of that night. She wondered why Ji-Sui hated her so much. "Because I wanna know who pushed you." He asked calmly. "I don't know." She answered, a little pissed off. "Syanja, look at me." He held her hand and turned her attention towards him.

"Tell me." He demanded. Syanja shook her head and looked away. "I can't Hyun-Tae." She whispered under her breath. Hyun-Tae let out a deep sigh and rubbed his temple. "I know Syanja, who did this." Hyun-Tae raised his voice a bit. Syanja frowned and looked down at her lap. "I don't wanna make any issue here, Hyun-Tae." Syanja said in a low voice. "Syanja, I know Ji-Sui pushed you." She immediately looked at Hyun-Tae, who was focused on her shocked face. "Why did she do that?" He asked again in anger. "I don't know." Syanja turned her gaze on the laptop, scared of Hyun-Tae's angry voice. He understood Syanja was scared of his voice, so he smiled. "I am sorry, I don't want to show you my anger, Syanja. It's not for you." She nodded, terrifying. He was about to say further, but stopped as his gaze landed on the door, revealing his friends. Syanja's eyebrows frowned, and she turned her face to where Hyun-Tae was gazing. A small smile curved on her lips and she ran to Jung-Hoon. "You are back." She said excitedly and hugged him. Everyone frowned at her sudden move but smiled immediately.

She broke the hug when Jung-Hoon didn't hug her back. She stared at his face with those big doe eyes waiting for him to say anything, but he removed her arms around him and walked straight to his room, making her frown. That was the first time she showed affection towards him but was ignored by him. Her heart clenched. She felt embarrassed and hurt. Everyone was shocked about Jung-Hoon's behaviour. "Syanja," Ho-Jim whispered as he saw her teary eyes. Syanja closed her eyes and controlled herself not to cry. "Excuse me." She took her stuff and made her way out of the house. When she was about to step out, Ji-Ho spoke. "Where are you going?" He asked, as he worried about her. "I will be back soon." She answered and headed out.

"Jung-Hoon messed up badly this time. She was showing affection for the first time and he ruined it." Seo-Jin said while shaking his head. "Let him stay alone for sometime, he is tired, nothing else." U-Ram suggested, and they headed to their rooms. A gentle knock on the door caught Jung-Hoon's attention. He let out a sigh and stepped near the door. He calmed himself down and opened the door. Ha-Yoon entered his room and sat on the edge of the bed. "Are you okay?" He asked Jung-Hoon coldly, causing him to nod his head a little. "You know what you did a while ago?" Jung-Hoon frowned and gazed at him, confused. "What do you mean? Jung-Hoon asked cluelessly. "You hurt her." Ha-Yoon answered straightly. "Hurt who?" He asked again and totally didn't understand what Ha-Yoon was saying. "You hurt Syanja, she was showing affection towards you and you ruined your moment with her. She was embarrassed because you did it in front of us." Jung-Hoon gazed down as he recalled the memories. "I am sorry, but I wasn't in the right mind." He explained. "We all are not in the right stage, Jung-Hoon, but it doesn't mean we hurt others. She knew nothing about what happened to us today. She is working on this project harder and when she gets to know about it Syanja will definitely stress herself more than you." Jung-Hoon heaved a deep breath before letting it out. "I am sorry." All he had was just sorry to say.

"Where is she?" He asked out of the blue. "I don't know. She went out when you came here." Ha-Yoon answered and stood up. "I am living for important work." Jung-Hoon nodded and Ha-Yoon headed out of his room, leaving Jung-Hoon alone. "What will I do now to make it up with her?" He thought and made his way downstairs to ask for help from others. As he came downstairs, everyone gave him a Judge look. "Hey, I know I messed up, but don't show me this look." He whined like a baby, causing them to let out a chuckle. Jung-Hoon felt light knowing that his friends were not angry with him at least. He was about to join them but stopped at his tracks when Syanja came inside the house with Eu-Woo.

"Tell Mr. Jeong that I am leaving from here as soon as possible, as he needs me there." Eu-Woo nodded his head and excused himself to make a call. Syanja let out a deep sigh and made her way to her room to pack her stuff. She was about to go upstairs, but stopped when U-Ram called her. "Syanja, can you come here?" She forced herself to smile and made her way to them. "Where are you going? Are you leaving?" Ji-Ho asked, being sad. "Yeah, Mr. Jeong wants me to come back. He needs to talk with me about something important." She said while gazing down, still embarrassed. "Do you want any of us to come with you?" She shook her head immediately as Ji-Ho asked. "No, No. You all have work here. I can manage that you don't have to worry about it. Actually, I already booked my ticket and just came back to take my things." She smiled while telling them why she was back. They nodded their heads. "Are you sure you can manage it?" Hyun-Tae worried about her, which was visible all over his face. "Of course, I am not a kid, though. I can handle things you all are thinking too much about me. Please, don't worry about me." She let out a sigh and headed to her room, totally ignoring Jung-Hoon like he didn't exist.

She sighed as she packed her stuff and took a last glance at her room. "Let's go, Syanja." Eu-Woo said and took her bags with him downstairs. She made her way to follow him. Syanja waved her hand to them as the car engine started, ready to vanish. They waved their hands too, telling her goodbye. "Take Care" she shouted as the car drove away from everyone, especially Jung-Hoon.
