We passed quite some time behind the stables, where the palace hoisted a large shed, rearing the other animals. It was fascinating to see the milkmen milk the spotted cows and feed them. The other engaged people fed the brown, black and white hens and brought in trays of eggs, as though the palace was about to hold a feast.

But considering the number of people who lived in the palace and dined at the same time as the king or even before truly made it seem like a grand feast. Perhaps, the lower-ranked knights ate with their heads from each division or together like a family in some other hall. As for the higher-ranked knights, guests, officials and royals, they dined with their king.
