I stood there, looking aghast. I stared at the man, who stroked my giant friend, at his indecisiveness. Miss Griselda herself had her eyes go wide in shock to hear such a statement.

'This brainless fool,' my brain went, literally wanting to burn the man alive for such a disagreeable answer. 'Is he blind?'

'What did he say?' I blinked my eyes and asked myself. 'Did I hear it right?

My mind buzzed with unanswered questions and the stupid remark that had been passed to me. The black mare with a white star continued to be affectionate, probably not aware of the kind of danger that lurked around for it and me.

"Also, if the horse dies, it would be your responsibility and not mine for feeding it that," he said. "You fed your beastly friend who won't take a bite of good food from me. Perhaps it must be sold to you or given away elsewhere."

'So he is jealous, huh?' I thought with a smirk. 'What a fool indeed.'
