I WANT TO COURT YOU
"Good morning class" the teacher greeted.
"Good morning Mrs.Kendrix" the class greeted.
"Bring out your history notes" she ordered.
"Catherine" she called.
"Yes ma'am" I answered.
"Your last name is Rieves, right" she asked.
"Yeah" I answered.
"Are you related to Mr. Andrew Rieves and Courtney Rieves, the owner of the StarDreams Entertainment, the big movie company".
"Yes" I said as I clenched my fist.
"I am such a big fan of them, I'm guessing you know a lot of big movies stars" she added.
"Yes I do" l replied but I started feeling irritated.
"You know I'm an actress too" she said.
"Wow I am so surprised" I said in a sarcastic manner.
"Well let's leave all that and get back to the real question, history" she said as she took out her textbook.
Finally lunch time.
I sat by myself during lunch time, yes Matilda wasn't with me, she sat on another table. Well I like sitting all by myself that is until out of no where Jackson came to sit next to me.
"I didn't say you could sit here" I said.
"Last time I checked it was a free seat" he responded.
"Why are you here" I asked him.
"Just wanted to sit down" he replied.
"Aren't you supposed to be with your girlfriend" I asked.
"And why do you care and besides she's sitting over there with her friends" he replied.
"Are the two of you even dating" I asked curious.
"Why that question, are you jealous or you want to be the one that would date me" he chuckled
"Your thinking way to much of yourself, why would I want to date you I have better things to be doing" I responded.
"Then why that question" he asked.
"I mean you always keep her at arms length, you guys do even talk or share kisses like a normal couple" I stated my point.
"Do you want to share a kiss with me" he asked in a curious manner.
"No, eww.." I said in disgust.
"Then change the topic" he responded.
"People like him like avoiding questions" I said to myself.
"Katty, em, I want to court you" he said full of lust in his eyes.
"Don't you have a girlfriend" I asled.
"Forget that all you need to know is I'm courting you" he replied.
"See there was something that pulled me to you even at first sight, so let me just court you" he added.
"Do whatever you want, I really don't care" I said as I stood up and left the cafeteria.
3 hour later...
The bell finally rang. It was all over.
"Do you like Jackson, Katty" Matilda said with tears in her eyes.
"Are you okay, and I don't like him" I said helping her clean the tears of her eyes.
"I saw the both of you in the cafeteria, and it was evident that he likes you" she said while crying.
"Mattie, he just wanted to court me" I replied.
"So he even wanted to court you, I need to go to the restroom" she said as she stood up from her seat while crying.
"Wow emotional rollercoaster" I thought to myself as I carried my bag and left the class.
