Each fused bone held 10x the amount of bone marrow as her blood started turning gold uncontrollably.
Her Spirit roots invaded her organs, penetrating through all the tissue, growing like the roots of a plant.
The Drop of Blood she swallowed exploded into countless little particles, invading all her bones and heart, turning everything bright gold.
The Galaxy in her Dantian slowly formed a Sphere, but the Sphere stopped spinning as a particle of blood splashed on it.
Mu Yu spat out a mouthful of blood as her Golden Core collapsed before reforming 10x bigger than before! Complex lines appeared on the surface, appearing like vines with fig leaves on them.
The Golden Core took on a different color, turning into a multicolored Sphere. It pulsed with all sorts of colors!
Her Cultivation Base jumped quickly before stopping at Golden Core Stage 13.
Mu Yu was encased in a pitch black shell.
In Jin Wu's body, the same process happened, except his Golden Core was drastically different.
His Golden Core was a bright white Octahedron with blue vines and fig leaves engraved on it.
His Cultivation Base also stopped at Golden Core Stage 13.
Jin Wu groaned as he understood why it stopped…
The main reason was that they had progressed too fast. The Foundation was stable before, but now it was shaking and deteriorating. It wasn't a problem at the moment, but breaking through right now, would have after effects.
The situation was; if they broke through right now, they could lose the ability to leapfrog and spike higher level cultivators. As it stands now, Jin Wu could insta-kill Stage 9 Nascent Soul Cultivators, but he would have to run from a Void Crossing Cultivator.
He was thoughtful, thinking about why this was the case as his cells evolved.
The Nine Star Hegemon Body Arts had helped with the foundation but it wasn't omnipotent. His first star was the Golden Core itself, but the technique had been fundamentally changed when it reached his hands.

Her hair turned golden blonde and her eyes turned bright blue as well.
The change was normal, after all Adam and Eve were created by God, of course they were perfect.
Mu Yu covered her massive chest, blushing "Y-You get out!" Jin Wu was stunned and retorted, "This is MY room!" Mu Yu glared at him and shouted "I said leave! Bastard!" Jin Wu grumbled and got up, his body making the sound of lightning crackling as he felt comfort all over.
He pulled a robe from the side and covered his waist, walking out of the room.
Mu Yu blushed and held her cheeks, licking her lips, "Hehehehehehe~"
