Awaken

I was sitting alone in my cage in a daze. Tired and bored from the fight before. I hadn't used my cataclysm and so haven't transformed back yet. That's why they sent her.

"Hey, kitty." She said walking up to my cage "Pretty tough spot you got yourself into. I've tried to convince them to let you go but they're stubborn."

"It's okay, my lady" I turned to face her "As you say 'the only way evil can prevail is if good people do nothing'"

"Clearly, I've rubbed off on you."

"Ha, good luck taming me. I've actually thought of a way you could get me out of here. Come forward, I'll whisper it in your ear."

She stepped forward and turned her ear towards me. I took my chance and snatched her earring. As she tried to cover her face she made the mistake of turning her other ear towards me and I grabbed that one too.

"Cat Noir what are you doing?!" She yelled at me

"There's no Cat Noir now only Cat D'ombre!"

She turned back to me and I finally saw her face.

"Marinette!?"

"Shhh. Don't tell anyone, please. I'm begging you if you have any love left in that evil little heart of yours."

"I won't. I promise."

"Too bad there're cameras all around." I heard his voice again in my head "You're doing well Cat D'ombre. Just bring me those miraculouses and as part of my wish Lady Bug will love you forever."

"Right away Hawk Moth"

I turned back to the bars of my cage and found that Lady Bug I mean Marinette was gone. I knew for sure where she went though.

"Slight detour Hawk Moth. We're going to visit Master Fu."
