A date

"When is the ugly nerd coming back, this place is kinda boring without her." Ever said as she walked into Carols. Chewing her gum so loud.

"Go away Ever!" Barbra yelled. Before she could get to the counter.

"Don"t take your anger out on me. If you"re that guilty you know where to go, Didn"t ask you to sleep with her best friend. So much of a so called friend.."

"You know what Ever, get out of here."

"What, does the truth hurts."

"Leave now!"

"What if I don"t want to, you don"t want everyone here to know, what you did, you literally sent her out, what a bad friend. How can she work here. Seeing your face everyday is like a disease, poor thing." She sighed pathetically.

Barbra bit her lips. Keeping her anger within.

"I wonder how she felt, seeing you guys together. This is the first time, I really do feel for the poor thing ."

"How did you know?"

"How did I know? Ha-ha, I'm Ever, you should know that. You can't possibly hide anything from me. I know everything."

"Then you should as well know where, Elina is? Just get out of here."

"Why don't you tell me where she is?"

"If you promise never to show your stinking face here again."

"I promise." she lift her right hand up.

"Couldn"t say I used to have a crush on him. Raymond, he something else."

"Elina is in the Kenzo's mansion, the town idol, she's with him. She's staying here. Now shut up and leave.."

"Not so fast."

She leaned on the counter, placing her both elbow.

"How did she get here, it isn't easy to go there and stay alive. How did go there?"

"Thanks to you."

"Me?"

"Yeah, you made her crush on the stranger remember. Ethan Brennon. Kenzo brother."

"Oh my gawd, that witch, she didn"t bother to thank me.. so what"s is she doing here?"

"Sex toy or something."

"She must be lucky, it"s better being a sex toy to a billionaire than someone who has nothing but their best friend.."

"Get out!"

"Wouldn"t you take my orders."

"Leave Ever!" She gritted her teeth.

"Poor thing." She clicked her tongue.

"I"ve have my orders then leave."

She saw Ray coming in, he paused when he saw Ever. Then walked in fully.

Sh chuckled lightly.

"What is this, the latest couple in town. You guys are really something else. Oh El. I would always protect I won"t let anyone hurt when I"m around not even Ever." She said dramatically.

"Remember saying that to my face Ray. How could have believed the person who love her so much would hurt her just as much. You two sucks, you deserves each other. Though I expect more of you Ray. Not someone so low. Oh now I get it!" She snapped her fingers.

"Did you f**k her thinking she was El. I wouldn"t blame if that was the case. You could hardly differentiate between them anyway, dumbass."

She hissed and walked out, shoving Ray aside as she past.

"You both sucks!" She yelled.

"Ignore her," Ray said, moving to the counter.

"Did you find her?"

"Yes, she is there, she went back there, heard she"s now working there." He sighed.

"I came to give you this." He dropped the key.

"When you"re done, pack your stuff in my house and leave, Let"s end it here. I"m sorry."

"Ray!"

"Listen Barbra, it won"t work you and I can"t work. I still love El, I would do anything to get her back."

"As a friend, a brother or what."

"As a guardian. Its been me all those times, she had no one else, I couldn"t just abandon her, even if she doesn"t like me anymore, I want us to get back together just as we used to be." He replied.

"I want her to approve of us being together. I don"t hurt her, by staying with you. I don"t want to lose El, not again."

"He would never give her back to you. She"s already part of the mansion. She can"t leave unless she was granted leave by him. What would you do?"

"I wanna ask her to forgive me, I won"t be happy if she"s isn"t, maybe she"s mad at me. For what happened, I don"t want her to be mad at me."

"But you can"t see her."

"I just want to keep trying."

"Kenzo would never let you in. Especially if he"s aware of what you did and how much you hurt her, you"re already on their revenge list and so am I. You think she"s gonna see your face. You wish."

"How come you know so much about it."

"I"ve been there before." Was all she said. She sniffed, and blink her eye, trying not to cry.

"I would have to go back to work now."

"Barbra.."

"It"s fine, I"m fine, just go get your girl." She turn away, entering the kitchen.

Ray ruffled his hair, there was nothing he could do now, than find a way to speak to El. Only then would he be at ease.

Barbra had been there before she could help him, couldn"t she, no he doesn"t want to involve her in this.

Though she was already involved in it. He still doesn"t know how it all happened. But he knew it all started when he woke up from the hospital and saw that he survived.

That was it.

The rest was history.

He walked out of Carols, going for a bottle or two, to cool off.

"Seems you're fine."

"I"m fine, at least I'm not dead yet."Ezra came in fully and stroll towards the bed.

Sambas was standing by the window. His eyes fixed outside.

Ezra sat down.

"Do you feel any pains?"

"Not at all, except."

"What?"

"The pain in the heart."

He chuckled.

"Still wanna go home?"

"Do I have a home? I used to think I do, but I was alone with no one but myself. No one to worry about me. No one cares anymore. A home has become any place I could lay my head. This is home to me."

Ezra pat her back.

"You"re growing."

She chuckled.

"Am I?"

"Yeah." Sambas replied.

"And guess what.." he added.

"You"re going on a date with the master Kenzo."

"We"re going on a date?"

"Yes. I mean not that way. You're not going on a date with him, you'll accompany him as a bodyguard."

"What? Bodyguard. I'm not going."

"Like you have a choice."

"Well, I do, right Ezra."

"If he had said It there's nothing you can do but obey. You don't want to sleep in the dungeon. Again."

"How I'm going to be a bodyguard, that's absurd."

"You should tell him that."

"How did you know, you haven't step out of this room since, I was wondering if you plan to sleep here tonight. Don't you have some work to do or something."

"My work is to protect you. Are you sick of me already. We have our way of knowing this."

"Don"t mind him." Ezra whispered to Elina.

"If you're sick of him, kick his ass, I would protect you."

"You"re crazy Ezra. I can clearly hear you. Maybe you should think about quitting your job at the hospital and try to hold a gun.."

"I"m planning on quitting."

"Don"t mind him. Tell him to do what he came here for and get out."

"You should give me some respect!"

"Yeas sir." he salute.

"I might as well report you to the master tell him you didn't do anything but sit down and chitchat. You know that's what he hates."

He stood and squat in front of Elina, taking off her glasses.

"What are you going to do?"

"I was ordered to treat your eyes, ms Elina."

"My eyes? It can be treated?"

"Stay still let me check them."

"So I can get to see without glasses."

"Yes. But it would take a while, though."

"Oh my gawd." she exclaimed. With her hand over her mouth.

"I"m going to the date."

"Like you have a choice."

"I wasn't willingly before but now I'm."
