1 Case 1 : Heist of Black Orb (1)

The sky was filled with gloomy clouds. The sun was giving all it's rays. Everyone was minding their own business. Some were going to office, some were going to college and some were walking without any motives. Among the crowds,there were many who were using umbrellas in order to save themselves from the rays of sun. In such a summery day, police were busy looking at the cameras.

A few days ago a little basement was found. That basement had a challenge letter of a heist that was planned to take the Black orb . Black orb was an antic piece which was recorded to be the head of a necklace from the ancient era. It was black in colour and it had a round shaped. It's size was of a table tennis ball. Inside the orb, there was a diamond which was completely unique. It was different from the modern shaped diamond. Moreover the diamond was red and it would shine in darkness. It was the speciality of black orb. In daylight, it would look normal. But in night the diamond inside the orb would shine and spread its light . It's more like a dim light. Since that day, the security regarding the black orb had increased .

According to the basement, the heist would take place in 21 November, 2077. So, the time had come. The black orb was placed inside the Beuronuma Museum. It was situated in Jianx . Jianx was one of the divisions of Rozhok. Rozhok was one of the biggest countries situated in Erangle continent. The Museum was a three stored building. Every floor had different types of antic pieces.The black orb was in the second floor. The security system was controlled in the first floor. The museum was open in this day too. Nakayama, the captain of Fire Force in Jianx district. Fire Force was ranked the 4th security department of the whole country. So , Nakayama had a huge work pressure on his head. He was a 39 year old man with a mustache in his face . His hairs were short, black and had an army cut . He was taller than average males. He had a good reputation. Just after receiving the heist information, the owner of the museum, Sakhat , decided to inform this to Nakayama. Sakhat was fat, bald and had white mustache.Along with Nakayama , Sakhat and Rajin also joined to stop the heist. They had already prepared a plan to make the thief fail in his heist. Which was called

"The Double Disguise" strategy. According to the strategy, the real Black orb was hidden somewhere in a library situated in the first floor. Only for this day, the library was closed. On the other hand, the Black Orn placed in the second floor was just a replica.

Rajin was in charge of security of the Beuronuma Museum . He was a part of Rapid Force . Rapid Force was also a security department. It's different from Fire Force. Rapid Force members usually took the security responsibility of institutions such as school, college, market, malls , museum, halls, community centres etc. On the other hand, Fire Force directly deal with criminals. Rapid Force was ranked away below Fire Force. Rajin was the captain of Rapid Force in Beuronuma Museum. Just like this, other institutions had their own Rapid Force Captains. The day was Tuesday, November 21, 2077. Nakayama, Sakhat, Rajin and 5 guards under Rajin were in the control room of the museum.They were looking through the surveillance cameras. On 2nd and 3rd floor there were 8 Fire Force officers and 3 Rapid Force officers. In first floor, there were 4 Fire Force officers and 2 Rapid Force officers. As the control room was at a side from the exhibition hall of the first floor, there were more 5 Rapid Force officers in the control room. So first floor had 5+2= 7 Rapid Force officers. Nakayama with a curious face asked Sakhat, "You know a heist will take place today. Why you still decided to keep the museum open?"

Sakhat replied, "This museum is one of the best museums in the whole Rozhok. As you know this museum is open from morning to 10 o'clock at night, everyday. Just for this day we can't close it. Also even if we do, there are chances that the thief will choose another day to take it. By this sense, we can't always keep the security tight and close the museum for the sake of antic pieces."

Nakayama listened him. Although this was the reason Sakhat explained. But Nakayama could guess the real reason behind the opening of museum this day. Beuronuma Museum was one of the best museums in Rozhok. If it was closed for one day, huge amount of money would lose. A part of everyday's income from this museum directly contributed to the Gross Domestic Product of Rozhok. There were metal detectors at the entrance of the museum for the visitors. There was another door only for the officers. As they were looking through the cameras, Sakhat suddenly told

"Hey Hey, keep an eye on this guy." Then he pointed to the monitor number 4 which was monitoring the entrance paths of the museum. Nakayama looked there. Sakhat then told , " Replay the footage please. " .

A guy had replayed it. Nakayama carefully looked at the footage.

A Fire Force officer entered through the gate which was specially for the officers. He was tall, had a blue coloured cap in his head and he was wearing a mask. Another officer at the gate asked that officer who was entering, "What's the code ?"

He whispered in his ear "Mg0798" .

Then he was again asked , "Your id ?"

That officer took out a batch from his pocket and showed it to the officer who was giving the check .

Then again another officer came. He was a person with average height but muscular body. He wasn't wearing any mask. His cap was in his hand. That officer in the entrance again asked the other officer , "What's the code?"

"Mg0798"

" Your id?"

"FFg7082076NO01"

He had passed and entered. Then another Fire Force officer came. He was tall, pale white skinned , had a great aura and he was handsome too. He was asked by the officer in entrance, "What's the code?"

"Mg0798"

"Your id"

The officer took out a batch from his pocket and showed it to the officer. He passed and entered the museum too. ]

Nakayama was the one who had ordered for some Fire Force officers. That's why these three had come . Now first floor had 7 Fire Force officers. But Sakhat had doubted one of these three officers. After watching the footage, Nakayama understood why Sakhat was doubting. Only Rajin was confused. Understanding the point of Sakhat, Nakayama couldn't reject the offer of keeping an eye on one of the three officers that had just entered the museum. After a few time, other visitors had entered the museum. Visitors were increasing time by time. The doubtful officer was in the second floor. Nakayama, Sakhat, Rajin were looking through the cameras with their eyes open.

Boom !!!

Suddenly the lights had gone. Everything became dark. A huge commotions had broken among the crowds. All three floors had gone into chaos.

"How ? How ?"

All the officers had only one question.

Sakhat shouted, " All officers . Head towards the second floor. No one , not a single person should come out of the room. "

Nakayama said , " But if we do that, there are chances the thief will steal something else. "

Sakhat again said , " Okay, 16 Fire Force officers,head towards the second floor. 3 Fire Force officers stay in the first floor. 4 Fire Force officers head towards the third floor. 5 Rapid Force officers, guard all the doors of the second and first floor. The rest head towards the electric room. Try to fix it as fast as possible. "

Nakayama was shocked to see such a leadership. It was said among the youths that Sakhat in his prime was someone special, who was respected because of his intellects , knowledge and wits. Sakhat told ,

" Sir ,Nakayama . That's all I could do for the safety of the museum. If you see any better idea, please take the seat. Rests are on you."

Sakhat then went out of the room. Nakayama asked while Sakhat was leaving, "Where are you going?"

"Did you forget our double disguise strategy?"

This sentence was indicated to the double disguise strategy which was devised earlier. The reason why Sakhat was leaving was understandable. Sakhat and Nakayama both could understand the probability of a plan which the thief could come up with. Nakayama thought after listening to Sakhat's words , "What if the thief knew where the real black orb was ? There are still chances. There might be spy of the thief or a listening device secretly planned in the control room of the museum. By this, the thief could listen to all our plans and right now to divert us into the second floor, he did all these." There were plenty of evidences that could lead anyone to this probability. For example, intentionally leaving a trace in the entrance door. Nakayama after all couldn't understand if that trace was intentional or it was coincidental. Also this types of 'Diverting Strategies' were often used by thief where first he would divert the polices in somewhere else where the police might be thinking, " The thief is here" . Then unexpectedly the thief would steal the real thing from somewhere else where the police would be busy finding the thief where they were baited at first. This created a strong probability.

Nakayama told

"No. I understood. But I think I should instead go there and guard the real Black orb. You better lead the officers. I'll take Rajin with me . "

"Sir Nakayama. I've already had ordered your officers which I shouldn't had done. So, you take this role. I'll take Rajin with me"

Sakhat wasn't anyone from the officials. He was only an owner of a museum which didn't give him any rights to give command to other officers who were actually a part of official. That's why he had said those sentence. Nakayama could easily understand the hidden and indirect meaning of these words. A light of good admiration had brought into the hearts of Nakayama towards Sakhat.

Suddenly a voice came from a Fire Force officer.

"Sir , sir, the black orb is missing from the museum. "

Nakayama shouted, " Okay , don't let anyone out. "

Boom ! Boom! Boom!

Suddenly in the second floor, there were small active fireworks but many in quantity were seen. They weren't that much damaging fireworks. But they were still fireworks which were used in wedding nights or new year occasions. The visitors were panicking and trying to get out of the floor. Fire Force officers were trying hard to stop these people from getting out of the floor. Nakayama shouted,

"All officers, control the situation. Don't let anyone out."

After a few minutes of commotion , the lights finally had come. Fire Force officers were able to calm down the visitors. Black orb was missing from its place. But it was found in the ground. Nakayama got a relief when he had watched the scean. But instantly he remembered the probability of the

'Diverting Strategy' . Then he took his phone and dialed Sakhat. Nakayama doubted it because he got the information of the black orb founded in the surface of 2nd floor. According to Nakayama's thought, "why would the thief leave the black orb instead of taking it ? It's obvious that the thief knew that was a replica. The thief might also know the location of the real black orb."

Nakayama called Sakhat to inform him.

" The number is currently unreachable"

After calming down the people, Nakayama instantly rushed towards the room where real Black Orb was kept. All he saw was a guy lying down on the floor without any consciousness and the dirty room where books were spread here and there and the black orb was missing.
