18 I'm BACK!

What is Destiny?

Destiny, sometimes referred to as fate (from Latin fatum "decree, prediction, destiny, fate"), is a predetermined course of events. It may be conceived as a predetermined future, whether in general or of an individual.

Traditional usage defines fate as a power or agency that predetermines and orders the course of events. Fate defines events as ordered or "inevitable" and unavoidable. This is a concept based on the belief that there is a fixed natural order to the universe, and in some conceptions, the cosmos. Classical and European mythology feature personified "fate spinners," known as the Moirai in Greek mythology, the Parcae in Roman mythology, and the Norns in Norse mythology. They determine the events of the world through the mystic spinning of threads that represent individual human fates. Fate is often conceived as being divinely inspired.

Fatalism refers to the belief that events fixed by fate are unchangeable by any type of human agency. In other words, humans cannot alter their fates or the fates of others.

Philosophy on the concepts of destiny and fate has existed since the Hellenistic period with groups such as the Stoics.

The Stoics believed that human decisions and actions ultimately went according to a divine plan devised by a god.[citation needed] They claimed that although humans theoretically have free will, their souls and the circumstances under which they live are all part of the universal network of fate.

Who is a Protagonist?

A protagonist is the main character of a story. The protagonist makes key decisions that affect the plot, primarily influencing the story and propelling it forward, and is often the character who faces the most significant obstacles.

So, simply a protagonist is a person who is chosen by destiny as the Saviour of the world. In most stories nowadays the protagonist wins by plot armour which he has due to being the chosen one of destiny.

No matter how strong the opponents are, he wins due to that bullshit luck.

Who is an Antagonist?

An antagonist is a character in a story who is presented as the chief foe of the protagonist.

So, an antagonist is chosen by destiny to be the punching bag for the protagonist.

No matter what the antagonist plans, he is destined to forever be defeated by the protagonist.

But,

what if the antagonist had enough?

This is the story for the new novel I'm going to write.

The story takes place on a planet called Arcadia, where humans and mythical creatures like elves, dwarves, goblins and many more can manipulate the four fundamental elements of nature namely fire, water, earth and air.

Read as Lucifer breaks free from the shackles of fate bounding him and becomes a man, a legend and a myth.

This is the story about his RISE.
