Anticipation Or Hesitation

"Dana!" 

She turned around from where she heard the childish voice calling her name in excitement, and saw Finn running towards her. A wide smiled curled at her lips as she watched the little boy's curly golden hair bounced all over his face. 

"You don't have to run," she told him as he handed her an orange origami in the shape of a swan. 

"We made it at school today! I made it especially for you," he said proudly. He gave her an adorable smile. He lost his two upper front teeth at the start of the summer. His two missing upper teeth just made him more adorable. 

"Arigatou." She said a thank you in Japanese. Finn loves it every time she speaks to him in Japanese. According to his mother, the little boy didn't stop learning the language even when she went back home to Shanghai.
