It was a few days after Ezra had moved into the mansion. At that time, Donita planned to ask Raphael if he wanted his daily coffee at this hour. As she strode closer to the office room, she heard what sounded like someone crying, the sound accompanied by choked breaths. With a sense of unease, she approached Raphael's slightly open office door.

It was unusual because Raphael usually kept his office door closed, seldom letting anything distract him like this.

Donita cautiously pushed the door open, intending to ask Raphael if he would like a coffee. However, she quickly pulled the door back upon seeing what was happening inside.

Though she could only see the side profile, that figure was undoubtedly Ezra. He was sitting on Raphael's lap, his hands tied tightly behind his back with a dark blue tie. Resting his head weakly on Raphael's shoulder, Donita could see his trembling body and hear whining sobs escaping from his mouth.
