"Why are you looking at me like that-"

At the voice that suddenly entered his eardrums, Ezra instantly averted his eyes. As he was thinking of the right words to say to this man, his eyes fell behind Raphael's back, where the hall was already filled with people in pairs.

Raphael, who knew where his eyes were going, stepped closer to Ezra and grabbed his wrist.

"Let's go back to the villa."

"Go back? Isn't there a ball after this-"

"I already gave her my gift anyway, so it's fine if we don't attend... Or do you want to dance with me?"

Ezra quickly shook his head, out of the many important events he attended together with his father and mother, ball was something he disliked the most, probably one of the reasons was because he couldn't dance and it would be awkward if you got a skilful partner.

"Don't joke around, we'd better go back."
