220 The Proposal

Jayden did not change his mind about getting married to Veronica at all. He booked a fancy restaurant for one night and asked all of his friends to dinner a few days before the wedding.

All the couples came, even Aidan and Malikha, who just got married. At the same time, James and Delilah met. James liked hanging out with his friends more, though. After that, Delilah had fun talking with Nisa and sometimes Kiran. She and her friend are both expecting their first child, which makes Delilah smile.

"What do you suspect?" James asked as he sat next to Jayden and looked at him. Jayden kept looking at James while James looked at Aidan and Malikha.

"No, I don't think anything is wrong." That's just what I think.

"I'm curious," James cut in bitterly. Jayden gave a smile and a nod.
