No-one's Bar

At the edge of Wine street, stood a two-story building. Soft classical music was currently drifting through its doors, which was an odd thing in a lively street such as this. The upper floor was a living area, and the lower a bar, "No-ones Bar" said the sign above the doors, in bright elegant strokes. And hanging on the door were the rules of the bar in plain bold, it read;

1) No fighting.

2) No drugs.

Two simple rules, but everyone abided by it. Not out of respect but fear, simple and plain fear.

The place suddenly popped out of nowhere last year, a quiet bar in a noisy street. It became fairly popular the first week, and with popularity also came trouble. Other Bar owners sent their people to scout it, check its owner. And they quickly came back with news, the owner was a guy named Chu Ye, 22 years old, fairly handsome with his now-signature white dress shirt (top 2 buttons popped open) and black fitted pants.

His origins weren't listed, but his life in Zhonghai was, which was fairly plain. But to the bar owners that didn't matter, to them, the only important thing was that he had no background. And so their people went, starting fights, vandalizing, it lasted for the whole week, and then it suddenly stopped. No more shady people (the obvious ones of course), no more trouble at No-one's bar at all. The interested parties quickly found out why, the places that had targeted Chu Ye, all its employers suddenly vanished, there was no exception, no one knew where they had gone, but everyone certainly knew that it had something to do with Chu Ye, and now there was no trouble.

Of course, the place didn't stay popular for long, it wasn't really the type of place that people would go to for excitement, no, it was for relaxing, somewhere to go to get away from all the troubles life had to throw at you. So now it had regulars.

The Chu Ye in question was currently sitting in front of the piano, a cigarette in his mouth playing an upbeat jazz song. He would sometimes play one-handed to take a sip of whiskey, a slight show of skill. His set ended quickly though, and with the applause of his customers, he elegantly walked back upstairs. His customers understood though, Chu Ye rarely played, and when he did, he always managed to entrance them with the charm he radiated, not to mention his playing. The customers were fairly rich, they had heard their fair share of pianists, and Chu Ye was nothing short of professional, even a little better.

Chu Ye didn't care much about their opinions though, to him music was a form of venting, a way to get his emotions out. What other people thought of it didn't bother him in the slightest, and if he got praised because it, well who would complain. Right now though he just wanted to play games.

2 hours later

The sound of something cracking could be heard, Chu Ye looked angrily at the mouse that was slowly disintegrating within his palm, he sighed wearily, even with superhuman reflexes and eye coordination he couldn't possibly dodge an unexpected sniper shot. He got up and lit a cigarette, he remembered how his parents had constantly told him to stop, saying it was bad for him, now it couldn't kill him even if he wanted lung cancer. Of course, that wasn't a bad thing, life was calm and quiet just how he wanted it to be, he wasn't a very aspirational person, he had no big goals, just a small one.

He wanted a girlfriend, the problem was, he had pretty high standards, even in his previous life ( Though he was pretty ugly back then) now he was handsome and powerful and had a steady income, girls were practically throwing themselves at him, but his standards had just gotten higher. But that's why he had come to this world in the first place.

Chu Ye took a quick shower, he put on his shirt and pants and straightened his hair, no jewelry, he always felt them to be pointless. He then walked downstairs and went out the backdoor, and turning a few corners he came in front of an "ok" looking bar, he walked in and sat at his usual seat.

"The usual Mister Ye?"

A pretty bartender came up to him and asked for his order, Chu Ye had gotten accustomed to being called Mister Ye already, perks of being a bar owner in wine street.

"Yes please Xiao Zi."

He smiled charmingly at her.

Zi Qian was dazed by his smile, although he came here every day, she could never get used to that smile of his, she quickly got to pouring his drink though, with a faint blush on her cheeks. A Johnnie Black on the rocks.

Chu Ye sipped quietly, listening to the hustle and bustle around him, he had almost forgotten his purpose in coming here. He turned his head towards the corner of the bar, and there she was, lazing drunkenly on a dirty sofa in a cheap bar. Even in a palace, she would stand out, and in this place, a deer caught in headlights.

Chu Ye could see baldy and his friends glancing at her from time to time, no doubt waiting for the drugs to kick in. He gulped his fourth glass in one go, put a thousand RNB under his glass and slowly walked towards her. When he sat down next to her he was amazed, he had seen his fair share of fairies and queens, but she was on a different level. Porcelain skin, a stark contrast to her silky hair and black eyes, eyes she was using to stare at his now. Hers were glazed, tinged with lust now, and a tiny bit of helplessness, Chu Ye's were lucid, the same black as hers. They stared at each other for mere seconds, but for each, it felt like hours, and then her lust took over, she threw herself at him, trying to meet her lips with his. Just before the two touched, Chu Ye held her back, inches from each other he could feel her hot breath against his, the smell of alcohol and a slight tinge of mint. Their eyes met again, and he could see relief in them, minuscule, but impossible to hide from him, he smiled and gently kissed her on the forehead.

And just before she drifted off to sleep, Lin Ruoxi heard a soft whisper in her ear, like the devil on her shoulder,

"Sleep freely," it said. "Because when you wake up, I won't let you go."

Second time writing, haven't gotten any better. Expect a lot of mistakes and plot holes, but hey this is just for fun, updates will probably be irregular, I write when I feel good.
