Chapter 14

I should be answering Leo's question, right? However, when I was about to answer him, suddenly Alaska approached Leo and grabbed the man by the collar. Gosh, how's this? What's wrong with them? There's no way Alaska would be angry that Leo had taken the drink I was supposed to give him.

Come on, I want the atmosphere that befell me to improve in just one day, why is it so hard?

Instead of being surprised, I found out how lopsided Leo's smile was. He glanced at me for a moment before looking back at Alaska's eyeball that had been holding him.

"Are you mad about this drink?" He lifted the bottle of drink in front of Alaska's face, I increasingly found how angry Alaska was hiding.

"I—I'll bring your alma mater tomorrow, I promise I won't forget it again. So can you get out of here? I beg you." Hell, what did I just say? I don't know, I just feel like I have to get what's in my throat.

"Why don't you just throw this bastard away?" What else did Leo say? Bastard? Did they know each other or what?

"Come on, don't make a fuss." I hope this time one of them will understand what I mean and stop this hot atmosphere immediately. The thing is, all eyes are on us, unfortunately I'm in their midst, I'm sure if the students who see it will think that I'm being fought over.

One of them finally left. Not Leo, but Alaska. The man walked away from there after throwing his hands from Leo's collar, slightly pushing him away and walking away with a blank look on his face. He didn't glance at me at all, this time I just let it go, I don't want to make things worse, I'll just grab his attention next time. Yes, though he didn't even glance at me.

But, what was that? Why is he acting like he's jealous that the drink I was supposed to give him was actually diverted by Leo? Can I be a little confident right now?

"Hey, I don't want to hear your promise anymore, give me back my alma mater now." I was annoyed after hearing that. How can I give it now when I haven't washed it yet.

"You can't wait a little longer, can you? After all, without that alma mater you won't die!" Finally, I finally managed to air the sentence. I was afraid before, but now I think I really have to let out my anger.

He put both hands on his waist, "hey, why are you angry here? I'm the one who's at a disadvantage here. The Professor who see me not wearing my alma mater during productive activities always scold me. I should be the one protesting here."

"It's up to you, I don't care because it's your business." My legs were about to step from there to get away from him, my ears were too hot to hear his chatty chatter.

However, not according to what I expected, he instead held my hand which made my leg stop there. I'm guessing he'll be back asking for his alma mater.

"Tck, what else? I didn't bring it today and I didn't even wash it at all. So, tomorrow I promise to bring it, I'll set an alarm to remind me to wash your alma mater. Now are you satisfied? Can you let me go?"

He didn't give any answer, only his eyes rolled as if what I just said was a joke to him. Seriously, I wanted to punch him in the face.

Waited about a few seconds before he let go of my hand and started making noise.

"You like him?"

"Huh?" My brain is spinning, what does that mean?

"You liked that guy earlier?" Turns out he was talking about it, do I look that much like him? Ah, of course stupid, you chase him almost every day.

"Yes, why? What's that got to do with you?"

I saw him smiling lopsidedly, I think he was mocking me because he was chasing a man who didn't consider my presence around him at all.

"Then I guess you have to be better than his past so he can glance at you. There are already other people who have stopped in his heart first. So, you don't have to expect too much, unless you really want to look like a fool who chased him into this world end."

After successfully making my enthusiasm fade, Leo just walked away from there carrying his basketball. I was silent trying to process his words again. People in the past? Uh, it hurts to hear that.

I tried to dispel that one thought, later when I got home I could be satisfied thinking about it. Now, I just need to find Chelsy to get her back together. However, after my eyes wandered here and there from the audience until several people were still standing looking at me because of the incident, I still couldn't find Chelsy's presence.

She left me? Seriously, I didn't bring my car today.

The pounding sound of the basketball hitting the floor was getting louder and louder in the small hallway. Leo didn't stop whistling a little before turning and finding the presence of a man who seemed to have been waiting for him for a long time.

He stopped in his tracks, sandwiching the round object between his arm and waist.

"I don't like her, you are wrong if you intend to make it your object for revenge and your hurt."

Leo just chuckled a little listening to Alaska's narrative. Well, actually he had thought of that before, surely Alaska would have made such a confirmation. But, why did the man actually care about the girl?

"Did I ever tell you that she's my main object?"

Their eyes collided with each other, Alaska was looking at him flatly while Leo was smiling lopsidedly with a relaxed face.

"Whatever it is, this has nothing to do with anyone else, she's just a stupid girl who thinks that liking me is the most valuable thing."

"Are you trying to show off?" This time Alaska joined in with a lopsided smile, though only slightly. He corrected his position that had leaned against the wall.

"That's the truth, right? The proof is that I've always been superior to you." Alaska cast a gaze that was no less sharp than Leo, it seemed that the man was starting to get emotional.

"Shall I give you a fact? You just accepted the fact that you weren't her choice, and now she's far from here just to avoid you crazy for getting rejected."

Next, Alaska stepped a pair of legs from there after successfully silenced Leo with what he said.
