30 Final exams

Amanda just stared at him. She didn't know what to say anymore and why was Charles looking at her in that manner? Different thoughts were flooding through her mind and she wanted answers. She desperately wanted to scream 'yes'. But was that the right thing? She loved Charles but did he feel the same way? She didn't even know when it all started. Was it the first time she met him or was it when he stood up for her when Sam Taylor was harassing her?

"Amanda, are you okay?" Charles suddenly asked once he noticed that he was deep in thoughts.

"Yes I'm fine." She replied.

"Um... Charles I'll have to leave now." She said packing up her books.

"Why? You haven't even answered my questions." He said as she stared at him for a few seconds before she sighed.

"I'm not going to get married to Sam Taylor, no matter what." She said and left the library leaving Charles behind.

IN A CAFE DOWNTOWN:

"Are you sure about this." A man in all black asked as he stopped his coffee, eyeing Chloe suspiciously from head to toe.

"Yes." She replied firmly.

"Consider the plan a success." He grinned.

"I knew I could trust you." Chloe smiled.

EXAM HALL:

"So today is the final day, this paper is going to determine if you leave this great institute with your certificate." The lecturer shrugged as the invigilators gave out the questions.

"But in all...I wish you the best." He smiled and left.

...

"So how was the exams." Ella asked Eliza as they walked towards the girl's hostel.

"It was okay besides I wrote down all I remembered." She said.

"That's good to know."

"Um... Eliza I want to talk to you about something." She said nervously.

"What's the matter? Is it about Daniel?" She asked worried.

"No it's about Amanda." She said.

"And what about her." Eliza frowned.

"You should be nice to her... she's your roommate after all." Ella insisted but Eliza just let out a chuckle.

"But not for that long." She scoffed.

"Just a few more weeks and we'll all go our separate ways." She stated.

"I know but could you be a little nice with her for this next few days". She insisted.

"Fine I'll try."

"Thanks you're the best." Ella smiled as she gave Eliza a bear hug.
