Fault.

Camilla had been avoiding the top of her and Chris's relationship with her friends. Even when they had persisted and kept coming to her workplace her lips remained sealed.

"Is he that good that you can't tell us anything?" Monica asked.

"Maybe it's you who is clinging to him and just feel ashamed to tell us " her other crazy friend laughed.

Camilla felt her patient running out, they had kept at it for the whole week and it was getting on her nerves.

"Why don't you just tell us how hot your sex is with him? I would love to hear that " one friend whispered

Camilla felt her face blush thinking about their intimate times.

She picked up her glass and took a sip of the beverage.

It was almost time for them to close and these three had no intention of leaving anytime. She sighed...

"Okay I will tell you guys tomorrow but now I have to leave. Someone is waiting for me " she stood up.

Monica looked up as she grabbed Camilla's arm, "Hi, sit down, we haven't finished our interrogation yet. we can't wait till tomorrow so you have to tell us now" she angrily frowned.

Camilla felt her temples start to hurt, she had been busy all day and even missed lunch. And when her three guests arrived she was lazy to even eat. Was she getting sick, frowning she sat back down?

She wanted to protest but had no strength left for their bickering and just fell silent.

"I don't think my girlfriend is in the mood to entertain you anymore " a voice came from behind her.

Her three friends who had fallen silent kept their gaze on the person who was standing behind her.

She looked up meeting with his black cold ones. He smiled down at her. Camilla smiled back but before she could turn to ask him why he was there, Chris bent down closer to her face and pressed her lips with his.

"Let's go home, I miss you " he whispered after he kissed her.

Camilla giggled, he always knew how to make her feel better, "why did you come, I was about to leave " she murmured.

"I was worried that you might be too tired to drive home so I decided to come to drive you home "

His nose tip kept playing with hers as he answered.

"Leave them here and we go," he said.

Camilla frowned as she remembered what she had been doing, her friends, oh no! the customers in the restaurant. Before she could react something flashed. She pushed him away and stood up only to see her friends and the others taking pictures of them.

She turned to Chris who was smiling like he was the happiest ma. alive.

"It's your fault " she pushed him away as she ran to the back of her office.

Chris looked around with a smile then rested his eyes on the three on the table, he slowly bent over and glared at them.

"Can you three stop bothering my wife, I can't bear to see her stressed like that. Is that understood?"

They nodded and his plastic smile appeared as he walked off.

Camilla and Chris drove home in silence. she had blamed him for what had happened.

"Still angry?" he finally asked.

"This is going to add more fire to the situation, we just survived a video saga now this " she pointed to the pictures on her phone.

Chris chuckled watching her worried face. Then the pictures on her phone were from earlier. He had not intended to cause more chaos but wanted to express how he had missed her.

Camilla looked happy in all the pictures, with him bent over her as they kissed.

"You looked lovely " was all he said as he turned his eyes back on the road.

Camilla's frown disappeared and a smile crept to her lips. She started to her phone's screen. They indeed looked good together.

Her smile vanished when a call came in, it was her mother.

"Yes, mother " even though she had not forgiven them yet she still knew they cared for her.

"Let's meet tomorrow, I need to talk to you, "she said.

" Okay, mom " she hung up.

Chris didn't ask who it was since he guessed from her face's expression.

"I don't trust her anymore " she finally said.

"Never did " Chris added.

"Should I still go see her?" she asked him. They arrived home, Chris helped her out and carried her back.

"I would oppose I know you want to, so go if you feel it's the right then to do. Just make sure you call me before you go " he said.

She smiled holding his arm as they walked to her apartment.

"Why don't you come along," she said.

He turned to her, "I would love to but I have a meeting a can't miss tomorrow" he opened the door.

"I understand," she said getting in.

Chris followed her in closing the door behind him, "Just don't forget to call me when you get there " he said.

Would it be wise to let her go alone, she was meeting her mother but that woman had proved to be something worse after finding out what she had done to Camilla. Even after they asked her why she did, her answers were true and the rest were lies.

Chris knew since reading people was one of his specialties.

He sighed, "I hope I don't regret this "
