To The Airport (About To Go)...12

Ever since that day, she had been indirectly courting Ethan until he fell for it...

Now, she's scared that he wouldn't let her off easily...

He knew she knew how much he had loved Temi and was willing to wait for her till when she had finished schooling, but for what she had done...

She wasn't sure how he would treat her and what would be her end part of it.

Sure, of course, she had always loved Ethan, since the first time Temi had introduced them, she had forgotten about one thing...

His temper...

He was very temperamental...

Quick to anger...

Hard to tame...(Except if Temi's the one)

Does not listen to you when he's angry...

And very dangerous when involved in a fight.

These attributes of Ethan had Olivia shoot her eyes open in fear as she found Ethan to be staring at her.

Who stares at the other wide-eyed during a kiss...?

Weird...!

With the way Ethan stared at her, Olivia trembled...

She was scared of Ethan now...

If only she had known...

Reaching out her hand to push Ethan away, Ethan was swift like lightning as he grabbed her hand as soon as she reached out for his shoulder.

Holding her wrist tightly, he slowly removed his lips from Olivia's as he slowly looked down at her wrist as he turned it around and analyzed it carefully tilting his head left and right as he let out a sinister smirk as he asked;

"What were you trying to do, Olivia?" His question was slow.

Olivia trembled uncontrollably as she stuttered;

"E...Ethan...I...I...It's not...I...!" She was at a loss for words.

"Shhh...!" Ethan silenced gently as he rose his hand to caress her cheek.

But as he raised his hand to her face, she flinched as she closed her eyes tightly, moving her face away from him.

Ethan laughed.

"Whoa, Olivia...!" He laughed.

Withdrawing himself, he moved away from her.

Olivia had expected some kind of sudden reaction from Ethan.

But seeing that he hadn't done anything and feeling him withdraw himself from her, she slowly, but carefully, opened her eyes as she looked at him.

Ethan was still staring at her.

His face beaming with a huge grin.

Behind that grin was some kind of sinisterness...

Raising his hand again to touch her, she closed her eyes tightly as she looked away from him.

This act made Ethan frown in disapproval.

"You don't want me to touch you, but you want me to cut all ties with Temi!" His voice was cold.

Olivia shot her eyes at him, trembling in fear.

"Well, darling, you had your work cut out for yourself!" He said again.

After some time of staring intently at Olivia in disgust, he said;

"Just wait till we get home...!"

"I can't wait to see how you work out in bed...!" And with that, he threw her hand away before setting himself to the side, sitting in his position with his chin in his hand.

Feeling restless he looked out the window.

He saw Temi get up and then smiled at her parents, before going forward to hug them...

Her Mother first...

And then her father.

Then, she took out her phone and took lots of pictures with them all, both as a family and individually.

When it got to the part where she took out her phone to take pictures with them, Ethan looked away, he couldn't watch anymore.

But before he turned his head away, he muttered;

"That should've been me!"

When he muttered that, Olivia heard as she turned to look in his direction, to find him looking at her.

Observing her changed facial expression, he said;

"You better not do anything stupid, or your existence wouldn't be remembered again!"

Although his voice sounded serious, his face had a different expression...A completely unreadable one.

Olivia studied his face before he turned away...

But she couldn't get any predictable expression that could tell his mood.

Looking forward, he said;

"Let's head back...!"

Looking at the girl beside him and analyzing her fully, he turned and said;

"And to my place!"

Once he had said that;

"Ethan...?" Olivia called.

"What?" He answered.

Sensing the coldness behind his tone, she shook her head as she replied;

"N...N...Nothing...I was just...!"

"Then why did you call my name?" Ethan asked, his voice sounding distant.

"Nothing...I was just...!"

"Don't call my name when you mean nothing to me!" He muttered strongly as he turned his head away to look outside again.

Olivia followed his gaze.

He stared deeply at Temi who seemed not to be aware of the look of admiration that was being cast on her from a far distance.

"I should've been there!" Ethan muttered very well for Olivia to hear.

Hearing what Ethan said, Olivia felt struck.

Looking back, Olivia tightened her fists as she gritted her teeth.

In her heart, she vowed never to rest until she put an end to Temi's life...

Temi on the other hand had completely forgotten about Ethan and Olivia, and as she was engrossed in her family...

As she took all her brothers in her arms, her parents stared from a little distance.

"I can't believe, she's all grown up...!" Mrs. Smith cried as she dabbed her eyes with the handkerchief in her hand.

Mr. Smith didn't say anything.

"So now, she's gon' be on her own... relate with new people...make new friends, and...see how life is, and also having the satisfaction as her parents that you taught her well...!"

Mrs. Smith smiled.

"You'd be satisfied and well assured!"

Throughout his wife's speech, Mr. Smith didn't utter a word as he only backed the scene, staring into the distance with numerous deep thoughts running through his mind...

Although Mrs. Smith was the one that loved to talk, she didn't forget her husband wasn't watching the beautiful sibling display.

Turning to look at her husband, she called;

"Babe...?"

No answer.

Mrs. Smith smiled.

She knew what her husband was worried about...

"Babe...!" She called again, this time, firmly she placed her hand on her husband's shoulder.

Feeling his wife's magnetic touch on his suit, he turned to look down at her...his eyes gentle.

"Hm...?" He answered.

Mrs. Smith stared into her husband's eyes as she slowly smiled.

A sad, but encouraging smile as she opened her mouth.

"Your daughter's all grown up!" She said.

Mr. Smith's eyed reddened as he looked away trying his best to not cry.

Mrs. Smith smiled.

She could see it...

The sadness...

The fear...

What was going to happen...?

What was going to happen to her, if they were not there?

If 'he' and his wife were not there...?

How would she cope?

How would she battle life without a clue...?

All these questions, Mrs. Smith could see flowing out of her husband's eyes as tears.

Tearing up also, Mrs. Smith looked away as she brought her hand to her nose...

Using her hand to gently, but elegantly wipe away the tears that were now rolling, Mrs. Smith sniffed a little before looking back at her husband as she said;

"Roger...!" She called.

Mr. Smith refused to turn his attention to his wife.

"Roger...!" She called again.

He began shaking his head as he kept on saying repeatedly;

"No...No...No...!"

Trying to move about, h

but couldn't, Mr. Smith kept on saying;

"No...No...No!"

"Roger, listen to me!" Mrs. Smith finally got a steady hold of him as she stabled him before saying;

"Listen to me, Roger...!"

Mr. Smith finally stopped moving as he looked down at his precious wife with loving eyes....but with tears still in them.

"Roger...!" Mrs. Smith called again but didn't know what to say as she paused with her mouth open as she just stared at her husband.

Mr. Smith waited patiently for his wife, but when she didn't say anything, he opened his mouth about to talk, before his wife cut him short.

"Roger, your daughter's all grown up!" Mrs. Smith managed to say.

"And that's what I'm afraid of...!" Mr. Smith said in a low hoarse voice.

"Why should you...?" Mrs. Smith asked.

"Throughout last week, we took our time to educate her 'bout life...!" Mrs. Smith said.

" 'Bout what she needs to know...!"

"And that's what I'm afraid of!" Mr. Smith finally said.

"That's what I'm afraid of...!" He repeated.

"What are you so afraid of?" Mrs. Smith asked not too surprised.

"A whole Mr. Smith...Roger Smith Rogers...what are you afraid of?"

"You've never been this afraid before!" Mrs. Smith said.

"The Roger I know has never been scared of anything before...!" Mrs. Smith said.

"The Roger I know would look at any danger coming, and face it head-on...!"

But Mrs. Smith was cut short.

"That's physical things Abby...!" Mr. Smith finally spoke, shunning off Mrs. Smith.

"That's physical things...I can tell when bad something's gonna happen and it does, you can confirm that yourself, right?" Mr. Smith asked.

"Those things that I can sense happen, are a natural gift bestowed on and birthed with me, by the Spirit...the Holy Spirit, Abby, they were birthed in me, by the Holy Spirit...not that I'm some prophet or something...but I can tell and sense danger when it's coming!" Mr. Smith said.

"I can tell that...!" Mr. Smith paused for a minute as he held his face as tears began rolling down.

"I can tell that she's not gonna find it easy...!" Mr. Smith said.

"Who's not gonna find it easy?" Mrs. Smith asked with a frown.

Looking at his children's direction, and then back at his wife, Mr. Smith pointed and said;

"Temi...!"

Mrs. Smith opened her mouth to say something but was immediately interrupted.

"I can sense it, I feel it...and not just that, I know it...!" Mr. Smith said sharply.

Mrs. Smith had always known her husband's words to be true and she knew that what he was saying right now was the truth because they had been told...

But she didn't want to believe it.

She knew that their daughter would one day go through hardships and experience lots of hard times...

She knew that her daughter would one day have to know that life isn't as easy as eating the pie that she was eating now...

It required work.

And stress...

With a lot of experience...

With the right people...

But as she believed all these things, she also believed that her daughter would one day come out triumphant.

She didn't raise 'all candy and all 'jelly-like kind of children...

She was from the barracks...

As she was a solder's daughter...

So having spent almost your entire life in the military estate, she was partly a militant.

The word 'was' does not only refer to her past but also her present too as she could fight anyone that dares touch anyone closest to her...

She was a tough but elegant woman that raised tough and you better 'touch not children'...

Yeah, of course, we all know Mr. Smith to be the tough one here...

Let's just keep it that way, because if you cross the boundary, no one's gonna tell you what's gonna hit you next when you see both Mother and her kids.

From parents, all the way down to Bryan...

They're a tough notch!
