After Them~23

"We watched enough of Perlas journey but how come we ended up in this jungle?" Hue complained as he slapped another mosquito in his cheeks.

"The face powder displayed the word ROAR, Road and Row." Nod informed.

"Yep so I guess are we going to deal with beast or ferocious jackals like from the book." Stripe raised as he strike a pose with an exaggerated gesture.

"Please don't wish for it." Oak sighed as she yawned.

"We need to look for a place to rest. Well it's not like we exist in this place." Hue added

"Yup. this tree and ground is fine." Stripe agreed they sat and slept like a log. The dew and mist caused the dried soil to be muddy.

The mud attached to them invited the gang of beast who are hunting them.

"I can't believe this. We have to survive and be washed off from the water but the water passes through." Hue roared.

"Yes. Too bad for us who can't even remove the dirt from our body." Nod.

"We need to properly use this mud or we will be a dead meat today and forever." Stripe voiced in between breath.

It was like a jungle hunt the wild beast are running after them. It was like a game of tag but they are the target. The jungle provided enough shelter but the wild are one with the jungle.

"We need to find the reason why we are sent in this jungle. And why does this mud get attached during our sleep." Hue instructed.

"I can't believe that even sleep is hard this time." Stripe complained..

They carefully glide on the side of the jungle when the rustling took the wild's attention.

They instantly ducked and laid on the soil but was later regretted it. They were sinking in the mud.

Stripe yelled as Nod and Oak approach them. Hue and Stripe were caught in a sinking mud. Their groan and yell seemed to have invited more unwanted guests.

"Guys our safest route is to sink and be swallowed by this mud." Nod stated and jump in with them. The four of them were struggling as the animals surrounded them.

"Let us behave" Oak whispered.

The hyenas started extending their claws. The lion jump to yanked them of but they laid their head on the sinking mud leaving their nose up high.

"Is this the end?" Nod asked.

"We need to do some thing!" Oak added.

They strated to swim out of the mud but then got cornered with a bear.

"No let us remian untouched in here." Hue directed. They had their backs lean on each other and faced the wild. The night got deeper with them trying to escape out of the mud that got stabled.

"Let us stay under water." Stripe proposed

"Good idea." Nod agreed they dive in to the water and indeed they can freely breath and glide but the mud won't get washed off. The stream had them chased by a crocodile and snake water.

The thick skinned long bodied aquatic carnivorous had it fangs almost snapped Oak's head off. She gasped and encircled the crocodile who smartly smashed her with it"s tail. Oak was glad that she passed through the rock. Hue clasped some mud and used it to attack the eyes. The crocodile panicked and vigorously swim away.

"That's it let us have a mud fight." Hue announced.

They got out of the water and walked around to look for a mud and carried it with themselves.

They returned to the same spot and created a cannon ball. Whenever a wild animal appears they would start firring it off.

They were able to get out of the jungle and found a building with an advance resources. The animals they thrown with mud got evacuated within the place.

"I bet we need to get inside." Stripe announced.

They entered the lab and found out that ever since their arrival they were being monitored.

The animals are being injected and were released by the morning.

"The bear retaliated. What shall we do Dr. Kuang?" A woman in her lab gown asked. Her pony tail wiggled like a tail.

"Take it as a subject. Experiment on it. Give me a new idea." Dr. Kuang replied his gray hair were trimmed in a neat line.

"I understand." The woman spoke.

Hue and Oak followed the woman as Stripe and Nod remained with Dr. Kuang.

"Just what kind of animal would be able to be in one with the mud?" The doctor muttured.

"I am sure this will give me tons of money."

"I need to expose them off." He hummed as he kept replaying the clip of them throwing mud.

Hue and Oak felt bad for the bear that got ried and was weakened by electric shock.

"We need to help the bear or he will end up as a carpet." Oak said.

"I know. Let us wait" Hue replied.

"They are after us." Stripe informed when they reach the two.

"Let us get out of this place and release all the animals here." Nod stated.

"Now." Stripe mouthed.

They searched the lab and freed every animals that were caged and tied they took advantage of the riot and lead some of the elephants to crush the technical area. Doctor Kuang fiercely got angry and said.

"I wll find our who you are!"

Hue and Stripe rain down a mud ball in his face that caused him to faint.

The lab got reported and Dr. Kuang got reported.

The mysterious mud animal later on was become the wild's prey. Hue hoped to never be back in such a place again. Stripe wished to get out as soon as possible as Oak and Nod tap the wheel and then pin pointed to "P."

"PAIN."

"PIT."

"PRAY."

Nod wished that his oxygen bag would be able to take in his rapid and rigid anxiousness as they landed in a place where the event currently occurs. The sorrowful groan were heared. The tears accumulated were more than buckets and the life that was precious got swallowed by the ground.
