PROLOGUE

LUCKY SPRINGS...

A small village near an isolated and desolate area, sitting at the bottom of a great hill. It was a small but quiet and serene environment. It was a very beautiful village, home to many people who see themselves as family. In this village, there lived a girl who was called "THE BELLE OF LUCKY SPRINGS" and another girl who was called "THE LUCK OF LUCKY SPRINGS". These two girls were best friends since childhood.

19 years ago...

There was a heavy downpour outside. It had been raining non stop and this caused the water to rise up to the level of the doors of the tiny houses. The villagers were worried as the rain had already destroyed their crops and was on the verge of destroying their houses too. They prayed for the rain to stop but it didn't look like it would stop raining soon. In the tiny shack of the midwife, there were two pregnant women. The midwife and her assistant, Lily, were helping these women to deliver their babies. One of the pregnant women had gone into labour before the other. This woman pushed and pushed until she was perspiring a lot. She gave one final push and a beautiful baby with Burgundy colored hair, sky blue eyes, straight and narrow nose and pink lips was born. The midwife and her assistant were astonished at the beauty of the girl.

A strange thing happened. Immediately the baby came out crying, the rain seized completely as if it were never raining at all. This caused the assistant midwife to gasp in shock and she said, "This is a miracle. This baby is lucky". The midwife agreed and said, "Indeed she is lucky. The rain immediately seized after she came out crying." She turned to the mother of the child who was panting and perspiring due to exhaustion and said, "It seems that the luck of Lucky Springs has arrived. The one we've been waiting for to deliver us from this period of hardship". Before the baby was born, the villagers were experiencing famine and scarcity of crops. The mother of the baby smiled at what the midwife said while hugging her baby. The villagers were surprised by the sudden seizure of the rain as normally the rain will slow down to a drizzle before seizing. They gave up trying to understand what happened and said their thanks to God before tending to their damaged crops. Little did these people know that this incident signified something else in the supernatural realm.

The midwife instructed her assistant to clean up the new mother and baby, while she tended to the other woman. She told the other woman to relax and clear her mind before pushing, which she did and soon, the cry of another baby could be heard. This baby had hair as black as coal, eyes the color of emerald gems, a small button nose, dimples on each cheek, lips as red as crimsons and skin as white as snow. If the midwife and her assistant thought the first baby was breathtaking, they were looking at the goddess of beauty herself now. Observing the baby's features, the midwives knew that she would be a gorgeous bombshell in the future. Lily said to the baby's mother, "Your baby will break the hearts of many men in the future", to which all the women in the room laughed in reply.
