The waterfall

The next morning when the girl woke up she felt revived, she was ready for another hard day, so she took a bath got into her combat clothes and went went to the dining room to have breakfast with her mom and dad but there she saw the other princess Martin's ex, the girl completely forgot that she would be staying with them.

She sat down with them and as she looked around the girl realized that Martin was no where to be seen,

"Mom have you seen Martin?" she asked,

"Uh no, i thought he might be with you" she said,

"No i have not seen him since last night" she replied,

"I will be right back" she said as she got up,

"Wait i will go look for him, i know where his room is" the girl said,

"No you can eat, i am going" she replied,

"Yeah Charlotte will go find him, you can eat" the queen said.

The girl looked at Charlotte sternly as she left.

The girl went to Martin room and knocked at the door but he did not answer, so she entered only to find him asleep on the carpet, she rushed to him, stooped down,

"Martin wake up" she said as she touched him but the prince did not wake up so she grabbed a glass of water and sprinkled some on him, a few minutes after he woke up and saw Charlotte standing before him.

He sat up and she helped up from the floor, he walked and sat on the bed,

"Are you okay?" she asked,

He looked at her and coughed "yeah i am fine" he responded,

"You do not look or sound fine" she said

He looked at her and laughed "so you do care" he replied,

"What?, i just came looking for you because the tournament will be starting soon and today it is archery" she said,

"Uh huh if you say so" he replied.

She sighed and then he started to cough again, the girl got up and placed her hand on his forehead and to her surprise his body temperature was so high that she could feel the heat coming off of his body,

"You have a fever" she said,

"Yeah i know, do not worry about me, this happen pretty often" he replied,

"What do you do about it?" she asked,

"Nothing in particular" he said.

The girl left staring at him and she brought a mug of water with ice in it, she then placed a towel in the ice water and then placed it on his forehead, the coldness of the water was to cool down his body.

He looked at her while she placed placed her hands in the ice cold water "uh.. thank you" he said,

She looked at him in pity "damn it why do i feel sorry for him?" she asked herself.

A few minutes later, his ex walked into the room, "here i will look after him, i am sure you have better things to do" she said,

The girl gave her the towel, as she was about to leave and the girl was about to place the towel on his head, he stood up and grabbed her wrist, "Martin" she said,

The princess turned around and saw that he stopped the girl from touching him "Martin what is it?" she asked,

"I do not want her near me, i would rather keep my fever" he said as he walked out of the room, Charlotte went after him.

"Martin where are you going?" she asked,

"To meet your father, i have business to take care of" he said.

While they were walking Jake came grabbed on to her waist and kissed her, the prince stared and so did the girl even her mother saw.

After Jake finished and she raised up to see they were looking at her, Charlotte's face got red and she walked away.

The prince sighed "my lady where is the king?" Martin asked,

"Oh he is in the throne room with the other royals" she replied,

"Okay thank you" he said as he left for the throne room.

The girl went by the waterfall and sat down, "the hell is going on in my life, i decided to go in a relationship with Jake but then i get all sentimental on Martin" she said to herself as she looked at her reflection on the water.

"Will i make a proper queen in the future?" she asked herself.

After spending a while at the waterfall, she went in to cool her body down, the waterfall makes people feel calm, like if there is nothing in the world to worry about.

Just before the tournament began, Martin came to find her, he saw her bathing by the waterfall but it was a good thing she had on a white dress, "you good?" he asked her,

She jumped upon hearing his voice "yeah i am fine, what are you doing here?" she asked,

He sat down on a rock "i came to find you, the tournament will begin just now" he responded as he stared at her.

"Do not look at me like that" she said,

"Why not?" he asked,

"Seriously stop it, place your eyes on the girl that really wants your attention" she said,

"Are you talking about Mila?" he asked,

"Yes her" she responded,

'Oh i see you are jealous" he said,

"Why would i be jealous?" she asked,

"Oh come on it is not like you actually love Jake" he said,

"It is my first relationship, you never know what can happen" she replied.

He laughed "can i come in?" he asked,

The girl turned and looked at him "yeah you can, as long as you stay at your corner, i do not want you near me" she said,

He smiled wickedly "what?, are you afraid you might actually give in to me?" he asked, as he took off his shirt and went in to relax.

"No, just stay there" she said,

"Okay fine, relax" he replied as he threw himself back in the water and balanced himself.

The girl stared at him and started to smile.
