Merlin's spirit

After a good night rest the next morning when the girl woke up she yawned, got up took a bath then got dressed before he woke up.

When she finished she came out from behind the waterfall and looked at the morning sky.

"Good morning" the assassin said,

"You scared me what are you doing here?" she asked,

'Tell me did you see what was in the secret room?" he asked,

"Dragon bones" she responded,

"Ah those are probably of his win dragons, sorry you had to see that princess" he said,

"It's fine i do not know whether i should go back there or not" she replied,

"You have to go back, only you can stop him please go back" he said,

"Okay, just make sure to stick around in case something bad happens" she replied,

"Do not worry i will be right here, go back inside" he said then disappeared.

The girl then went back to Martin and he woke up.

"Good morning" he said as he sat up,

"Good morning" she replied,

"Slept well?" she asked,

'Yeah i did after all i had a comfy little kitten with me" he responded,

"Who are you calling a kitten?" she asked as she punched him on the hand,

"Alright i am sorry" he responded while smiling.

"Come on let's get back to the castle now" she said as she packed the things into the basket.

"Do we have to go back?" he asked,

"Of course get up now" she responded and he got up.

A little while after they returned to the palace.

When they walked in he saw his father talking to some council members.

"Good morning father" he said,

"Good morning son" he replied,

"Good morning your highness" the girl said,

"Good morning princess, you guys go have breakfast then you and i need to talk Martin" he replied as he looked at them sternly.

Both of them went to the dining hall and as Martin sat down, Charlotte served him.

He held on to his head and closed his eyes.

"Are you okay Martin?" she asked as Anastacia walked in and hugged him from behind.

"Good morning you guys" Luka said as he sat down.

"you can say good morning without hugging someone" Martin said as he moved her hands off of him.

"Where did you guys go?" Anastacia asked,

"Uh we went.." she said and Martin grabbed on to her hand then looked at her sternly as she swallowed.

"Where we went is none of your business" he responded,

"Why do you have to be so mean?, is he always this grumpy?" she asked Charlotte,

'Yeah he is" Charlotte responded and he smiled a little on the side.

"Can you serve me too Charlotte?" Anastacia asked,

"Sis" Luka said,

"Sure" Octavia responded,

"Sit down Charlotte, you are no one's maid, you are not invalid Anastacia, shut your trap and get your food by yourself" he said as Charlotte sat near him and his father overheard everything.

He came and sat down with them.

"I would like to eat in peace you guys" he said as the maid served him.

Charlotte "oh i really wish i hadn't come here, dang it" she said to herself with a frown.

Martin leaned in towards her "relax, i can sense the tension coming from you and it's starting to frustrate me" he whispered,

"Oh sorry, i just do not like being her right now" she responded quietly,

'You two have something you want to share?" the king asked and Martin looked at him sternly.

"Nope we are sorry your highness" Charlotte said as she started to hear whispers coming from Excalibur in her head which made her head hurt.

She held on to her head.

'Ouch that hurts" she said,

"Are you okay?" Luka asked,

"Yeah i am fine thanks" she responded as she drank her tea.

"What's going on with that sword it's hurting my head?" she asked herself.

She inhaled and exhaled until it stopped completely but then she heard the call of a dragon again and she grabbed on to Martin's hand and squeezed it.

He looked at her then held on to her.

"She has been acting a little strange lately" he said to himself.

:Are you okay princess?" the king asked as she started to see blur.

"Uh i am full, i will go to my room" she said as she got up, grabbed her bag and left.

She went into her room, locked her door, sat on the bed then took out the sword which glowed at the very moment she held it.

"Damn it Merlin what's going on with this bloody thing?" she asked as it glowed brighter and she closed her eyes.

"Excalibur" she said and her head stopped hurting and her sight went back to normal.

"What it it Excalibur?" she asked as she released the sword and it floated in the air as a blur ball of light came out of it.

'What is that?" she asked,

"Hello, young warrior" the ball said,

'Oh no you speak" she replied,

The voice coming form the ball sounded like a man's voice.

"Who or what are you?" she asked,

"You call my name many times" it responded,

"You are doing well so far princess, protecting that boy and magic is your first priority at the moment do not be afraid, the more you fear the more you will get hurt and possibly lose the people who you care about and who cares about you" it said,

"I know that very well , thank you" she replied,

"Are you a spirit?" she asked,

"Yes i am and i am here to give you advice" it responded,

"Princess you need to take in Excalibur's powers as in accept it by heart then you and the sword will be one and you won't have those headaches anymore" it said,

"So basically i have to want to use it's power so no one else would be able to use it but me?" she asked,

"Exactly" it responded as she grabbed on to the sword which glowed.

The girl cleared her mind "i did not do it right with that fairy but this time i will" she said to herself as her mind and heart went at ease as her eyes glowed orange and finally she was one with the sword.

"Do you know whose spirit i am?" it asked,

;Yes i recognize the voice from my dream, you are Merlin" she responded,

"Yes i am" it replied and laughed then disappeared.

"Finally i have Excalibur under my control and mine alone" she said to herself as her eyes glowed.
