Jake's confession

The next morning when the girl woke up, she went straight to the library to find a way to protect herself from the killer.

She looked and looked but found nothing, so she decided to turn to prince Jake for help, the girl told him what happened. He got worried and decided to go to his mom for help.

"I will be back before noon, just be careful until then" Jake said,

"Do not worry, I will be fine" she replied smiling.

The prince kissed the girl on her cheek and she blushed " bye" he said,

"Huh bye Jake" she replied as she hugged him.

While they were hugging the same time Martin was passing by and he saw, " can I get a proper kiss? " he asked the girl,

She smiled " sure why not? " she responded nervously as he leaned in and they kiss, while they were in a lip lock Martin was getting angry.

The prince then squeezed her butt and she grabbed on to his shirt, he then raised up and smiled with her while she looked away nervously.

A few minutes after he left and the girl went to have breakfast with the others.

Before the others could come and she could have a seat, the prince grabbed her and shoved her into the wall, her back got hurt due to the push,

"Ouch" she shouted,

"Trust me, i could make you say a lot more things than "ouch" he said,

She looked at him and he grabbed her hand and pulled it behind her back squeezing her,

"Ah.. Martin let go of me" she said,

He then ripped her clothes from the back, she then braced herself to the wall,

"Martin, stay away from me" she shouted in tears,

"Why didn't you say that to him when he touched you?" the boy asked in anger as he hit the wall.

The girl jumped and her heart was racing in fear of the prince.

"What's gotten into you?" she asked,

He laughed "this is just how i am, i guess" he responded,

"You have been acting crazy lately" she said,

"I wonder who is the cause of that" he replied.

He placed his hand around her touching her lower back, she turned away with tears in her eyes,

"Martin, my parents will be here soon, please stop" she said,

He rubbed his hand on her face "why did you let him kiss and touch you?" he asked,

She looked at him as her eyes widened, the girl started to tremble "he is my... boyfriend" she responded,

"If that' true, then why did you hesitate saying it?" he asked as he looked at her in anger.

The girl stood there covering herself and did not answer his question, the boy laughed as he passed her a silk robe, which looks like a open front dress when you wear it.

"Here put it on" he said,

The girl tried to collect it but she was trembling, so he decided to put it on for her, when he finished he walked away and she grabbed him gently by the wrist.

"Good luck on the first tournament today" she said,

"Thanks" he replied as he sat down at the table.

A few minutes later her parents came, the king looked at his daughter and saw that she was looking a little worried,

"Charlotte are you okay?" he asked,

"Oh yes i am fine dad" she replied,

"Do not worry, Jake will be fine in the tournament, after all it is sword fighting and then they have a race" the queen said,

The prince folded his cuffs in anger and the girl saw, "uh.. yeah i am sure he will be fine, after all he is a great fighter" she replied,

The prince grabbed her and squeezed her waist, she folded her lips in pain as she held onto his hand.

Martin then sighed and let go of her "why am i being like this?" he asked himself as he left his food and walked away from the table.

"The prince left his food, did something happen?" the queen asked,

"No i am sure he is fine, do not worry i will uh.. take his food for him later" the girl said.

After she finished eating, the girl took the food to Martin's room, he was sitting on his bed reading a book, she was surprised that a guy like him reads books.

She placed his food on the table and looked at him "Martin eat your food" she said,

He looked at her "do not tell me what to do Charlotte" he replied,

"Why are you so angry all of the time?" she asked,

He looked at her and threw the book, she jumped "do not ask me that again after all i am the son of an evil king" he responded.

The princess looked at him as she walked to his bed side and sat down "i am not sorry if i said something that that hurt you, to be honest you deserve it but you cannot starve yourself if you want to win, hmm i am sure you won't though, Jake is far better than you" she said,

Well that got his attention, the boy look at her, he pulled her down on the bed and came above her,

He removed her hairs from her face and placed it behind her ear, "i am sure, i will win" he said,

She smiled "we will see and i would appreciate it if you do not invade my personal space again" she replied.

He came off of her "i will try but if i do know this, it will be your fault and one thing is for sure we will never ne friends, thanks foe the food you can leave now" he said.

The girl went to her room quietly, she changed her gown and sat down on the floor crying due to the prince's word, she wondered why he was behaving like that.

As she was crying, Jake came back looking for her, for the tournament was about to begin and the princess had to be there.

When he came to her room, the prince heard her crying, he opened the door and saw her o the floor, he held her hand and she wiped her tears.

"Charlotte what's wrong?" he asked,

The girl hugged him and he held on to her, "why did you ask me to be in a relationship with you?" she asked,

He smiled and raised her up "because i love you, i know that you do not love me, not as yet though, i hope we can get there" he said.
