Caged Islands

A bright sunlight hits the body of Peter as he slowly wake up from his sleeps.

Upon waking up, Peter's eyes wander around, what he saw shocked him because he was sitting in a beach from what looks like an island.

Peter did not understand what happened to him after his outburst in the interrogation room, all he remembers is that he was injected with something and he quickly lost consciousness, after that he caught a glimpse of doctors operating on him, then he wakes up in this island in the middle of unknown.

After looking around the area for a bit, Peter began inspecting his body if there is any changes.

He was wearing a black and white striped, prison clothing and on both of his wrist was weird device. This device looks liked a handcuffs from the middle age however it looks more advance.

Peter fiddled with the device on his wrist, upon tapping the device the first time a game like system message appears in front of him.

[Welcome to the Cadged Islands, an archipelago that is transformed into a prison for criminals who are considered to be highly dangerous to the society. in your wrist is a pair of handcuffs a device that is designed to monitor and track you during your stay in this island, be warned that removing or destroying these handcuffs in your wrist is highly prohibited as it can cause your death. (rest assured that the material for these cuffs is highly durable and will not be destroyed thru normal means) ]

[Your left cuff is the one responsible for the status of your body, it also includes a detailed list of your abilities, crimes and how you can further improve yourself during your stay on the Caged Islands.]

[The right cuff is the main library. you can search for relevant information on various abilities, areas, quest, evolution paths, stores and inventory. (please be advised that some of the functions in your cuffs requires certain things to achieved before you are able to use it.)]

[You may resurrect as long as there's a heart in the health tab in your left, once depleted your death will be permanent. also if your sanity reaches zero it will be considered as a lost of heart and the body that you have, may mutate into a monster.]

[lastly, you have complete freedom to do whatever you want in this island, unlike regular prison there are no wardens to stop in what you do, but remember we are always watching you. Enjoy^^]

After reading the enitre message, Peter felt that he just finished a marathon after reading the opening message. his understanding of the message leads him to theorize that there are more secret to this place aside from being a prison.

"So this kinda like a game, but instead of players were prisoners. Hahahha! What a sick joke!" Peter managed to release a laugh as he finally reached the first of his goal, his next mission right now was to find the bastard that killed his parents and turned him into the person he is now.

However before he can do that he need to familiarize himself to this place first and Peter had no doubt that exploiting the "prison system" will sure come in handy when facing that demon.

Peter review again his cuffs and check if there's some things that can be useful to him right now.

Peter first checked the library and saw information on various skills however many of it is currently is locked and those who are not only have few information as he had not yet investigate them properly.

Next was the world map however it only show a small portion of the land and it is probably one of those kind that will automatically generate once you have gone to that specific area.

in his inventory was 15 lunchbox, a knife and a change of clothes, Peter inspects the items and noticed that there are text written when he hovers his fingers in the items.

Upon checking the items, Peter go back to the library and checked the meanings of the descriptions in the items that he have.

the items in this place have different stars (*) being half a star while (☆) is one complete star, the more star an item has the better its effect and the more durable it is.

each item also has various effects such as; sharpness which tell the user how effective their knife towards different target and this can be improved with higher proficiency.

Defense will provide your body some protection, but only on those parts that is covered by the item you are using and some of this items will also be able to increase with proficiency.

After learning the descriptions and effects of the items that he have, Peter recieved a status point as if it was mocking him.

not bothering about the mockery Peter began checking the last tab that is available and what he saw weirded him out completely.
