4 chapter 3 2/2

after the accident that happened earlier that evening no child dared to go near him or even talk to him.. mrs. Cole even gave him the title as the demon's child or the devil's carnation but tom paid him no mind sooner or later he will be kicked out of this ' humble' orphanage , we can her the sarcasm on that one.

and the events that has happened that evening went to stephanie's head , thingking that tom aka rai is evil and is scared to talk to the boy because of the tought that she might get killed but she knows deep in her heart that tom could do not such a thing..

Rai stayed on his room and fiddled with his small hands that made thing unconsciously move around him ..

in the next week he is going to turn 11 and he can feel this excitement within him and he doesn't know why , with the war currently happening he himself does not feel safe because any minute now bombs can suddenly rain down on their heads , and in the next week they plan on leaving the orphanage because of the war that currently going on ..

then he heard a knock on the door,

" who is it?" rai answered then the one in the door replied with a shaky tone

" it's me .. billy stubbs .." nervousness can be heard from his tone

" what is it that you want" said tom

" i just wanted to apologize for what i did earlier..." said billy stubs with a shaky breath ..then with a flick of his hand the door opens with a surprise expression of billy stubs " i have to go now." then billy stubs ran out of his sight ..

" what a weird child.." then he opened up a book and read it then closed the door with a flick of his fingers then a few moments later he fell into slumber

the next day arrived and nothing is a new , war is still happening and everyone is still avoiding him then he saw stephanie whose expression filled with nervousness while looking at him . he just didn't speak and focus his point of view on the book he is reading , he is currently sitting inside the common room of the orphanage by the window ..

rai noticed that stephanie since yesterday but that's ok he is used by being lonely anyway , how he wish Frankenstein is with him right now, his day is getting a bit boring without his assistance it's not that long ago since the time he gained this body and he doesn't know how or why he gained this body or for what reason that is the question that kept on going in his mind or what kept hum awake..

" um tom..." she heard stephanie spoke beside him broking the silence inside the room..

"i just wanted to um.. say hi.." said stephanie " and i and sorry for avoiding you .." tom just replied with a simple " ok"

"so we still friends?" stephanie asked smiling and he knew that smile is forced " you don't have to pretend you like me stephanie." said tom brushing her away

" i-i am not pretending " stephanie exclaimed

"it's just that the events that happened yesterday just surprised me " stephanie said whilst fidgeting with her finger .. " i never knew you can do that..." still fidgeting with his finger

"i am made of many things stephanie" tom replaied curtly but still smiled and focused his view on his book

a week has passed and tom just remained silent most of the time , today is his birthday and nothing much happened just a few greetings from the kids until someone came knocking in the door he saw the man from his room window walking to the orphanage he have a long beard and wearing a strange robe and strange hat..

" Tom someone wanted to talk to you" said mrs.. cole as she knocked on his door then the old man from earlier went inside and then he spoke that he is a wizard and showed him things that also makes sense and talks about some things like why he stole some things wich he never knew he did and gave it back to it's owners and they should meet by september 1st as it is the first day of school and so he will give tom the things required for school

then the old professor bid his goodbye and bid his goodbyes

rai's day couldn't get any better after learning that he is a wizard he is pretty delighted since its something he never knew before and that there are people who are the same as him and that is great

" tom! tom! i heard you are going to a boarding school far away" said stephanie holding his hand happily her eyes shone and her smile gleamed " well.yeahh..." answered tom his focus still on the book

" so when are you going there" said stephanie smiling

" september the first " replied tom with a smile and he was excited for it

" woah that is a month away " and tom remembered that they are going away from this orphanage because its going to be part of the place that is going to be visited by the army of the nazi's who is ruled by hitler and they are going to the place called little hangleton there is a small orphanage there that is safe from war that is abandoned and they are going to acquire that for the meantime until the war ends

( i know this is where tom riddle sr lives and i did this on purpose)

" yeah.. " but the truth is to be sealed, he is not going to boast around and telling that he is going to a prestigious school for wizards and witches

" you are so lucky you got to go to a boarding school.." stephanie said with a sullen face "you can go to a nice school too if you study hard and try enough in the future " tom said focus still on the book flipping pages as he finish one page

" yehh right , i hate studying" said stephanie still sulking " well then you can't go to a prestigious school if you didn't try

" pack your things we are leaving in an hour " said shouted mrs cole and the other children did what they are told or so did tom

tom packed everything that is important to him well it's not much only a few things , his clothes barely exceeds 8 and some books that piqued his interest and that's it..

an hour has passed and they finally left and went to little hangleton all the surrounding places is full of trees and a few houses here and there and a mansion on the top of the hill , then they finally arrived the mansion looks pretty creepy since its abandoned for a few years then mrs. cole is the first to go inside to check if the floor is sturdy before the children atleast she still cares . the orphanage is pretty near the mansion then he saw a woman looking at them from inside the mansion

" this floors is sturdy" said stephanie as she walks besides rai ,rai just didn't say anything and looks at his surroundings

pictures of the last occupants can be seen hang up on the wall m mrs. cole turn on the lights and the house pretty much has spider webs every wear and dust , this place is shabby but if cleaned it can look nice

rai sat outside the orphanage on the chair nearby a tree and looks at his surroundings , fresh air and trees surround the place with that mansion sitting proudly nearby , it looks pretty big if he must say then his eyes met with a man looking through the window but rai just look sway and went back inside the orphanage

then the moment has arrived in where professor dumbledore arrives at their doorstep Dumbledore git lost for a sec because he tought he still lives on the orphanage where they last met but soon went here after detecting his magic

then they went to the place called diagon alley , they bought books,a robe , a uniform and a wand and a pet owl he can use to send a message to people he knew and rai felt delighted he can't stop a smile from forming on his face

the day went well he must say people riding brooms some creepy people lurking in the shadows in some alley he even saw some goblins on the way its something he had never seen before , all his life he lived inside a castle using his power to protect human kind with Frankenstein

and there is even a dragon inside the bank that protects it from people and the people from it. then they bought a cart in where he can place his books and owl into

then they apparated (or that is how dumbledore or magical people calls it) near the little hangleton and then dumbledore accompanied tom to the orphanage an then bids his goodbye rai then smiled at him happily before professor apparated

in a week hie arrival to hogwarts is about to come and he is looking forward to it

then that evening they were invited by the wealthy family from the mansion the door was big and there was a fountain in the middle ,

"hello there children, " said the woman who looks like in her 40's or 50's

" hello mrs. mary and mr. thomas" tom said with the other children but tom said it with such a cold expression

the other children were laughing happily and feasting on the food on the table but tom keep his manners intact and stayed quiet then after that he politely said he is done then he went ti the and then one of the people from the wealthy family talked to him

"hello there child" said the man who looked similar to mr. thomas from earlier , mr. thomas from earlier looks older this one is younger

" hello sir." said rai politely to the man but cold

" sir do you have any books about philosophy" questioned tom but emotionless still

" oh yes i do have one " said the guy with a smile as he handed him the book " thank you sir" tom said with a cold tone but polite tom then followed the man because he prompted him to follow him ,

" so what is your name boy" asked the man with a smile patting his head

" Tom Marvolo Riddle but you can hust call me tom sir." said rai politely whilst looking at him in the eye then he felt the man's hand let go of his head quickly as if he is scared

"so um what are you doing in the orphanage? where are your parents " said the man as he oat the boy one more time his smile forced " sir isn't it rude to ask a boy from an orphanage that" said rai glaring at the man " i was just curious that's all but it's fine if you don't tell me" said the man

rai just huffed lightky and spoke with an emotionless emotion as he sat beside the man and opened the bolm

" i was born there , i remember the matron said that my mum went to the orphanage one winter night and died after giving birth to me " tom said emotionless and cold " so how about your father?" said the man nervously

" i don't care about him he left mum because we are strange , he is probably dying out there somewhere" rai said as anger is starting to built in inside of him the vase suddenly crashed to the floor , his eyes went red for a few second

" im sorry about that , that always happens when i am in emotional stress or when i show any negative emotion " said tom as he fixed the vase using magic

" see it's fixed.. ." said rai

" i'm sorry about um asking about that" said the man nervously " it's alright , but don't do that to other kids though they will throw a fit " said rai to the man as he flip through pages

" so do you go to school?" said the man " no , but i can read i was tought in the orphanage , i am going to school next week" said rau as he flip the pages on the book and read " so can you tell me about that school of yours" said the man

" can you keep a secret ?" said rai then he closes the books

" of course " said the man

" the truth is this school is not a boarding school but a school for special people like me" rai said with a small smile creeping on his face " the school is said to be a castle with a big tables that have unlimited food and people rides on brooms uses magic the same as me .." rai said with a smile ..

" oh i did forget to tell you i have magic,i can also talk to snakes, i named mine nagini" said rai looking at the man , the man went pale when he heard that tom can speak to snakes ,

' this is indeed merope's' said the man on his head

" you look unwell sir.. are you somehow sick " said rai with emotionless still but still polite .

" ah y-yes i have to go back to my chambers.." said the man as he went walk to his room with such pace as if he wanted to get away from tom as soon as possible

" telling old people things like this always scares them off " said tom huffing and then made his way back to mrs. cole , they were about to go back to the orphanage ...

" byee mr. thomas and mrs. mary "said the other kids rai didn't say anything

and that is the day they met , unknown to rai that is his father whome he is talking to..

side story

Thomas jr. the father of tom is pacing around his room thingking that " he just met his blood and flesh of a son, the son he never knew existed ... well merope did say that she is pregnant but he never believed her , he was lied to and bewitched by that woman and so he never believed anything she said after that

he cant believe it .. he cant believe this is happening..
