Phinny?

I, Micheal just turned 17 and am on my way to pick up my sister Mitch to take her to her boyfriend's house. I coincidently live with her boyfriend because I haven't gotten a job yet which I'm hoping to do soon. When I arrived at the airport my sister then decided to tell me she was stopping at the bathroom so I had to just sit there. While waiting I saw a male about my age just wandering around trying to get a taxi but with no success. He seemed different but in a good way like he isn't from around here.

I waited about another 5 minutes when suddenly my sister came crashing into my car. As she was putting her stuff down and getting situated I looked in the rearview mirror to check on the mysterious stranger who was still trying to get a taxi. I felt terrible so I got out of the car and offered him a ride. When I asked where he was going I noticed the address was our neighbor's house. I found it odd because I thought I saw someone already move in but I wasn't going to pry. It was a quiet ride home since there was a stranger in the car so I broke the silence

" So what's your name?" ask Michael "Phinny and thank you for the ride" replies the stranger "No problem, you aren't from around here huh?" Micheal asks as he turns the car around a corner "Is it that obvious" Phinny replies with a concerned tone "Kinda, if you were from around these parts you would know the best way to get a taxi is to jump in front of it" Says Micheal in a reassuring tone. Phinny looked generally scared but I reassured him that it was ok.

We finally made it home and for the rest of the night, slept quite soundly. The next day I went over and invited Phinny to go for a walk in the forest behind our houses. We explored the woods until mid-day when we first saw the cabin. It looked abandoned at first so we decided to explore. It was quiet the entire time and at one point I could have sworn I heard two sets of footsteps behind me but I thought I was imagining things.

A few minutes later I found an entrance. But the knob was warm as if it had been used recently. When I turned around to acknowledge Phinny I realized he was gone. I called his name a few times before just going in because it was cold outside and the door was unlocked and it was quite clear someone lived there. Walking in a cold aura hit me that unsettled my nerves. One thing that caught my eye was a board with the faces of all the missing boys in our area crossed out with bright red X's that scared me half outta my wits. None of those boys has been found dead or alive. I suddenly heard shuffling footsteps behind me and assumed it was phinny. The last thing I heard was Phinny say "I'm sorry but you got too close to the truth." As I slipped into death it clicked that all the missing kids were foreign exchange students and perverts at that. I was only conscious enough to hear phinny inform me that Phinny can be a girl's name too.
