Disaster 5

"I want to go", I poked Bi.

"We just got here. Plus Alex is coming", she told me.

"I'm having a stomach ache", I lied to her.

"I know you are lying Maya. I would only believe it if I saw you running to the bathroom", she snickered.

"Alright then you stay I'm going it is pretty crowded in here", I told her.

"No we will stay here for an hour or money would be wasted", she told me.

"Go and sit over there", she pointed me to an empty seat. I pushed through the crowded boys. The light was nearly blinding in the dark room. I did not understand the concept of enjoying in here. It was dark and the music was too loud. The food was also average not that I ordered it. It was very expensive.

"Drinks for you mam", said a server who placed a flute of shampane before me.

"I didn't order it", I told him.

"This is a gift from that gentleman", he said nodding towards a guy. I only looked briefly at him fearing that he will assume I was inviting him to sit with me.

"Please take it back. I don't want this", I told him.

I saw the guy walking towards me. I just looked down at my phone praying secretly that he goes away. But he didn't he sat near me. I know he was rich not as rich as Harry. But rich enough but also old enough. I guess he had a wife tucked away but is still hunting woman.

"Hey I haven't see you before", he talked to me. He was rude and I wanted to snap at him. But I was a chicken as Bi says so I said nothing...

"Talk to me sweetheart", he told me..

"I'm not interested", I told him. I wanted to add go away but I didn't. I have to be firm if I want him gone soon.

"Do you have a boyfriend?", he asked me again. This guy can't take a cue.

"Yes", I lied again so he goes. But he wasn't interested in leaving me. I looked at Bi for help but I couldn't find her she might have gone to dance floor.

I didn't want to look at him so that he is encouraged to talk to me more. So I looked at anywhere but his direction.

"You look very beautiful. I'm sure your boyfriend would have flaunted you. But you are sitting here alone I'm assuming you broke up", he told me.

"No we haven't broken up", I lied again to him. He just wasn't taking hint. I have to rid of him and I didn't know how. That is when I saw someone familiar coming inside the club. I breathed a sigh of relief at the sight of Harry he had a nice timing.

"Hey tell me the truth. Either you have broken up or you are lying about the boyfriend. I can sense it", said the stranger.

"I'm not lying that is my boyfriend", I told him.

"Him?", he asked me like he didn't believe me at all.

"Are you sure?", he asked me.

"I'm", I told him. What did he mean by those does he mean by those words. Didn't he think I was good enough for him.

"But trust me when I say this you are not really his type. He looks like he is one of those empty men who dates super models with fake boobs", he laughed at the lame joke. I didn't find it funny so I didn't smile but looked at him sternly.

"Stop looking at me like you would like to put a dagger in my chest", he told me.

"Excuse me", I said and stood up abruptly. That attracted Harry towards us and he started to come towards us. He gave me a small smile and I melted there practically.

"Hi Jake. Hello Maya", he said to me with another rare smile.

"You didn't tell me you have a girlfriend", he told Harry.

He looked surprised to hear this. We were now joined by another girl. Calling her a girl wouldn't do justice. She was a tall hot woman even without her six inches heel and small dress.

"Hi Cara", he said. She smiled at him and kissed at his lips. I was too shocked to react. I was stunned. I haven't thought that he would turnout to be a player in the wildest of my dreams. Thank heavens I didn't sleep with him. My eyes welled tears which I wiped subtly but Harry noticed.

"So Cara is your girlfriend I guess", said Jake.

"No we are just here for a date", he clarified his eyes never leaving me. She noticed me for first time because two guys where talking to me so she couldn't ignore me any further.

"Hi I'm Cara", she told me. Her voice was bored but her eyes were busily evaluating me as though I was a threat. I wasn't her threat far from it. All I want was to escape from this God awful place.

"I said it just so that I can get rid of you", I told him squarely. I didn't want him to embarrass me before Harry.

Jake looked at me amused. But Harry not so much. I could see him looking at Jake with a warning. He shrugged it off casually.

"I have to go. Goodbye everyone", I told them all suddenly and started to walk away from them as fast as my legs could carry me. I started typing a quick text to Bi. I didn't feel guilty for ditching her since she was with Alex. I felt my head was aching so bad. Damn I forgot to take my migraine pills. I will stop by any pharmacy on the way home. Normally I would have waited till we reached home. But I just couldn't deal with the shit I was having to deal with. I wished that I haven't met Harry Sinclair.
