Seen?

Kate smiled. She was glad she accepted to be her friend. She liked Maddy since the first day she saw her. I mean, the girl is fun to be around with.

"so where do you live? I mean ya address?". She enquired.

"uh, Norwood! no 26 flat 10". Maddy replied.

Kate creased her forehead trying to recall where she heard that name. Oh, jas! He ran into Norwood, according to his narration. He said that neighborhood was fucking poor.

"i think I know the place! I mean ya neighbourhood! ". Kate said.

Maddy just kept shut. There was nothing to say!

"Okay, give me your number!". Kate requested.

"uhm..". Maddy remembered her phone was bad and she didn't even know the number. "uhm, why nit give me yours?".

Kate gave her her personal number.."Thanks, I'll head home now". Maddy said, as she got up

"come, I'll drop you off!".

"no you don't need...".

"as far as I know, Norwood is far from here, and there are no cabs by this time!".

"come on!". Kate pulled her by the arm before she could protest.

         The drive was terrible. The roads were really bad.

"See..why I told...you not to worry". Maddy said feeling guilty.

"its nothing dear, come on!". Kate replied, trying to cheer her up.

She finally arrived at the destination. Maddy alighted and thanked her again.  "Good night!". Kate replied and drove off.

Maddy breathed in and out before walking in her m*therfucking apartment. She got to her room and stepped in. Her gaze met with an angry Evie standing with folded arms.

"where did you go?". Evie asked. She had women up to go out and pee and realized Maddy wasn't in the room.

"stroll!". She looked at her suspiciously.

"to where?".

"why the questions? Tch!".Maddy sighed, and walked past her. She took off her jacket and slumped on the bed.

          Jason woke up with a slight headache.  He shifted his position, turning slightly. He yawned as he blinked his eyes severally. Getting up lazily, he strode to the bathroom and washed up his face. He dabbed some water on his hair too, making it damp. Pulling a white clean towel hung neatly waiting for him, he cleaned his face and dried his hair before placing the towel back and headed to his room. He sat down with a bit more force than intended, and grabbed his phone from his headstand.  There were a lot of messaged. He really wasn't interested. He checked the time....what the fuck?

He was up too early than usual. He sighed as he concluded on going for a nice walk. He quickly changed into shorts and top- one those athletes put on before a race.

He walked out of the compound as he jogged his way into the next neighbourhood. If he jogged further, he'll head to Cobbie hill which was close to Financial district, and damn he didn't wanna go there.

He got the neighborhood after his the neighborhood he intended to jog into, without even realising. He lingered in Norwood as he slowed his pace from jogging to walking. He took time to observe the vicinity, and to be honest he hated it. The place was all messed up and dirty. The roads were terrible and the houses were....he scoffed at the sigh before him.

He didn't even realise he had spent much more time out there than he intended to. He only realised it when he saw some group of people rushing with buckets in their hands as they forced their way, pushing past each other, and in the midst of the small crowd, he got a glimpse of someone..

"Crazy Prevert?". He mumbled as he stared in awe. She carried a bucket in her hands too and was also making attempts in pushing through. Suddenly, their eyes met...
