1 Prologue.

At CIA headquarters

In one room there was a man in his 40s, talking to a group of agents he was Charles Mazon, he was the director of the CIA and the best at what he did.

Charles alone changed the entire structure of the system, and thanks to him, every criminal who had his name on his desk would be doomed.

Each of the criminals in the USA hated Charles to the core, he developed a tracking system that reduced crime in the country to 1%, no criminal could even fart without the government knowing it.

Charles came from a family of politicians and special agents, he received training as long as he could understand, and he was a genius of epic proportions, in addition to being the biggest nightmare for criminals.

At the age of six, it was revealed that he had an IQ of 250, everything was too easy for him.

At the age of eleven, he already had multiple PhDs at Harvard.

He was so smart that with only three or four weeks of class he would already master the subject as if he had searched for decades.

But make no mistake, despite being extremely talented in academic subjects.

He was even more when it came to martial arts because at just fifteen years old, Charles had already defeated several world champions in their own sports, be it Jiu-jitsu, Kung Fu, Muay Thai, Karate, Capoeira, Judo, Tae Kwon Do, Boxing, Ninjutsu, krav maga, and etc ...

He was the pride of his family and although they wanted him to be a politician he chose to be a special agent since he wanted to make sure that the culprits paid for their crimes.

After all, he always heard his grandfather tell how he ventured and how he said how he completed missions that seemed almost impossible.

Charles was a bored person.

For him no matter what he tried he always did better than everyone else, all he needed to do was put in a little effort and he would have completely overcome everyone, for people outside it, was like he went to the reincarnation of all the geniuses from all areas that he tried.

The only hobby Charles had that got him out of boredom was reading manga and novels as well as watching anime and movies, he was always impressed at how creative people were and that was the only thing he couldn't cope.

The genius behind these stories was just too much like the stories of the world of cultivation where they defy the will of heaven, or how they use ancient techniques to enhance their history like alchemy, forge, etc.

Don't get it wrong he always thought outside the box and had brilliant ideas on how to help the population and if he had implemented only a third of them he could have ended world hunger.

However, he knew that if he presented these ideas he would probably end up starting a third world war, after all, people were always greedy, and in no way would entrepreneurs agree with his ideas, as this would lead several industries to have to reduce their profits in almost 95%.

Charles was a loyal and cold-blooded man, if it were in the interest of the country he would have no qualms about his methods, he didn't care if in order to achieve his goal he had to burn orphanages or even entire cities, and that determination was what made him so successful at the CIA.

He maintained this mentality most of his life and only changed when he had a daughter, Charles' marriage was arranged, as his family was concerned with the mentality he had.

Charles always believed that having a woman who could walk side by side and share his problems was a sign of weakness.

For him a real man should protect his wife and support her so that she reaches her maximum potential, but at no time should he let her have to deal with his problems.

Charles did not want a wife to be a trophy he wanted a wife who could shine and show everyone that she could be side by side with him with immense pride.

The problem with that was that Charles was too exceptional and that is why he never met anyone who could stand by him being from the same country, and who would be completely loyal to the country.

So as a last resort, his family forced an arranged marriage, so that maybe he would change his mind, despite knowing that it was almost impossible.

He and his wife despite respecting each other did not love each other, and they only had sex a few times and only to try to have a child, because despite his philosophy he always wanted to have children, and his wife had already got used to the idea to marry whoever her family decided.

After many attempts his wife finally became pregnant and had a daughter, this was probably the happiest day in Charles's life, and he swore he would never let any harm come to his daughter while he breathed.

On the day his daughter was born, Charles swore that he would reduce crime even further, even if it killed him in the process.

And so he did.

On his strategic leadership Charles and using political favors he won the war on drugs.

Not a single grass could be found on the streets.

Charles had destroyed all drug operations with the help of the DEA and the FBI, the service was so well done that drug dealers in other countries were shitting themselves with fear just hearing the name of the mind behind it all.

Charles became a thorn in the eyes of all drug cartels around the world, under his leadership the CIA had never been more effective in gathering information and distributing it accurately.

And because Charles had evidence that he could condemn any of the influential people in the country, he made sure that the situation would continue as long as they were in power.

If anything were to happen to Charles, he already had a set of trusted people who would deal with blackmailing the powerful.

Which brings us to the current situation, he heard that his daughter had gone to the hospital after feeling very bad and passed out at the daycare which made him worry a lot, he left work and ran to the hospital.

When he arrived and saw his daughter still unconscious he worried a lot, but soon he heard an explosion and saw that the building was starting to fall.

At that moment Charles quickly embraced his daughter, throwing his body over hers to try to prevent the wreckage from reaching her.

And he did it despite his body being pierced by multiple beams when his daughter woke up and saw her father's condition she cried out in panic for help.

Charles simply told her that it was okay the help would be coming soon and that she didn't need to worry as he continued to pray to all the gods he could imagine in his mind for any of them to save his daughter.

He knew he was already doomed, and the only thing that kept him conscious was the determination to save his little girl, as he knew that if he weakened the ceiling would collapse and kill her, but he didn't know how long, he could still remain conscious.

Charles stayed in that situation for hours, with the only thing keeping him breathing was the determination to save his daughter, he refused to allow his body to give in.

There were moments when he felt as if something was trying to force his conscience, but Charles didn't give in and stood still.

Charles knew he was doomed, but he would only allow himself to die, after his daughter was saved, and not a minute before.

And when the rescue finally came, and Charles saw that they would save his daughter he smiled at her and said his last words smiling.

[Be a good person and live a happy life, my beloved princess, live your own adventure, and live a lot, my precious Clarissa]. (Charles)

Those were his last words.

Charles died standing up while holding the roof with a smile on his face.
