17 The 'Dungeon of Fury' (4)

Enzo took quite some time to reach safety. The plant monsters chasing him managed to see a glimpse of him right before he could get away, and because of that, he had to run for a while.

In the end, he took about thirty minutes to finally find a place to rest, that is to say, up in a tree.

It wasn't as if he could find a better place anyway. There were monsters everywhere, and strangely enough, none were up in the trees.

"Oh god, finally I can rest a little," Enzo said as he looked at the sky between the leaves. The sun was setting. "I wonder when I'll be able to get out from here. Surely the other must be worried, right? Or maybe only Rose? I did tell her that I will be right behind her. Though, it's not a few hours anymore, but most likely a few weeks... Sigh, anyway let's check what I got."

Enzo first decided to check his profile.

What strikes Enzo the most was his stats points. He knew that fighting strong foes was the way to get stronger, but he never expected to have so many points already. Heck, he already reached the hundred mark for stamina. Strength and dexterity weren't that far behind either. There were only health and magic power that lacked a little behind, but he was sure that they will go up as well. He just needed to wait a little and get stronger.

Then, when he focused a little on the butterflies he has, he noticed that he could evolve his protective butterflies as well, and without hesitation, he did just that.

All his protective butterflies merged into one before changing their shapes. Exactly like the other two, the mid-grade protective butterfly became bigger, stronger, and more resilient. And the best part of it all was the fact that he now had only five butterflies out of fourteen, meaning that he could get a lot more butterflies.

"Well, I guess I'll be able to fight the guardian sooner than I thought!" Enzo's voice was filled with excitement.

And it was quite normal. Who wouldn't like to see themselves grow, after all? Seeing himself getting stronger was one of the most exciting things he knew of. Though, he was still too weak to get out of there.

Nonetheless, to not spoil his mood, he decided to shift his attention to something else.

Which was none other than his [Class].

Before reaching level 25, he didn't have a class, nor could he choose one. However now that he is level 25, everything changed. He didn't know what a class could bring him, but without a doubt, it would be something incredible.

Focusing on the [Class] tab, Enzo was surprised to see another tab open right before his eyes.

As the Prince of Butterflies, all butterflies under you will be at your command. Create an army and rule over the Kingdom of Butterflies.

Enzo's mind raced as he considered each option. Each class seemed promising in its own way, and he could see how they would complement his existing abilities.

"I wish I could choose all of them," Enzo muttered to himself with a wistful smile. "But I guess that's not how it works."

Enzo took a deep breath and carefully analyzed the available classes. Each one held great potential, and he could already see the possibilities they offered. However, he knew that he had to choose one that resonated with his instincts and aligned with his combat style. After all, it was a decision he couldn't take lightly.

The Blademaster class intrigued him, as he had always favored close combat and had already become proficient with bladed weapons. Becoming a master of swordsmanship and increasing his attack power sounded appealing, but Enzo felt that there might be more suitable options for him.

The Shadow Dancer class tempted him with its emphasis on stealth and agility. The idea of moving unseen and striking from the shadows was appealing, especially when dealing with dangerous opponents. However, Enzo knew that he had already cultivated his strength and durability, which made this option less advantageous.

The Arcane Sorcerer class had its potential as well. Magic was a mysterious and potent force that could grant him a wide range of abilities. The aspect of manipulating elements and learning various spells appealed to his sense of curiosity. Yet, Enzo also realized that he hadn't shown a strong affinity for magic in the past. As far as it goes, his magic power stat hadn't increased even once.

He had already established a connection with butterflies, and the idea of commanding other beasts and enhancing their abilities seemed promising. However, he couldn't ignore the fact that his current bond with butterflies might be hindered if he ventured down this path.
