As though he had been summoned, Shin strode out of thin air and hugged the crying Yoon-Yi from behind, pulling her closer to him. He pressed his chin on top of her head, trying to bury her deeper into his arms. When he felt her raspy sobs subside, he slowly let her go, turning her gently by the shoulders.

Examining Yoon-Yi's tearstained face and eyes, Shin could imagine the panic she had felt at being, not only lost from them, but also taken to an unknown place by a stranger. His eyes flicked over her head and saw Min Byung-Ho wiping his face with one of his sleeves. Shin's hands convulsed on Yoon-Yi's shoulders and he felt a surge of burning anger rising in his chest.

"What did you do?" Shin asked coldly, glaring at Min Byung-Ho.
