1 Chapter 1

Why is it so unfair?

I don't even know my sins for which I am paying this price….

This is my story, my struggle to choose between my love and my dearest mother. Just because of my stubbornness I am at this position, and now just one decision will decide what will be the direction of my life.

Let me start from my childhood. My name is William Christopher. I belonged to a fairly rich family, my father is a businessman and my mother was a housewife. From my childhood I was pretty introverted in nature,  I mostly spend my time with my mother other than going to school. I loved my parents more than anyone, especially my mother. My father being busy not able to give much time to me and my mother, but I knew it and did not complained about it, just enjoyed every movement when I  got my full family back.

Other than my mom I had a very keen interest in physics also known as the theory for everything and of everything. I loved it because it asks very simple questions to the most toughest questions ever asked in the century with a very unique yet satisfactory answers.

And my life just took a pace with my family and physics. As I grew the area of physics grew with me and I just kept on reading it whenever I get time. I never had a girlfriend maybe never felt a need to have one, anyways after that time flew like river.

I became 16 years old and I came in my teenage.

AND NOW enough about my background.

LET'S COME TO THAT DAY WHEN IT ALL BEGAN…

So, it was winter season, Christmas Eve snowfall was already begun. I went out with my mother walking on the footpath saying,

'why is he always avoiding us?', I asked.

'He might be stuck in his work, you know how hard he works for us'

'He really wanted to come but some urgent clients came so he had to join them for dinner', said my mum.

She made it sound like it was nothing and I didn't said anything further, I didn't wanted to start an argument there.

Then we went to buy the cake and did some shopping for home decoration, and I bought my Christmas gift, it was a car a green Lamborghini remote control and a smartphone, my first smartphone if I remembered correctly. I was very happy and I wasn't even looking anywhere other than my gift (my phone obviously) we came near the traffic signal.

'Stop here don't just rush everywhere' my mother held my arm and said.

She held it till the time the light was green and after a while she loosened it.

'let's go' she said.

I with my excitement and energy walking faster looking at my phone with my mother behind me and as we almost reached to the other side of the road I heard a shout,

'Williammmm....'

When I turned my head I felt a really hard push in my chest my eyes were closed as neural reaction, I flew in air, I opened my eyes and looked at my mother she was looking really tensed and then in a split second she smiled, opened her mouth to say something and right at that moment a car hit her.

And all I remember after is I was lying in snow with  my phone in one hand and I was looking at the car which I bought with the splashes of blood in it giving a very vibrant look in white snow.

I just lied there maybe for 5 or 10 minutes. I just didn't want to get up and go to my mother hold her in my lap, look at the blood of her's because I was too scared to do that in the state she was in, but then I did. I got up walked in baby steps, slowly to the road just trying to avoid the blood in the ground.
