1 School Day

The noise outside the apartment could be heard throughout the whole building. Jian just woke up from her 5 hours of sleep. She gets up, makes her bed, and goes to the bathroom.

Jian takes a shower and does her morning routine. Afterward, she goes to the closet and grabs black skinny jeans, a black tank top, and a large black hoodie. Then grabbed her face mask from her dresser and put it on.

Walking outside to the living room Jian saw her mother passed out on the couch. She sighed, grabbed her bag, and walked out.

It was 7:30 already and she had to get to school. Jian was walking her normal route to school thinking about the 8th-grade finals coming up in a month. Her spring break was after today which was a Friday.

In school, Jian tries to sit with her friends, yet it's hard to sit with them most of the time. She is always separated from other people, who are either asking her for help, or they are trying to get close to her. See Jian is a very smart girl and it doesn't hurt that she is beautiful.

As a result, most of the time she doesn't talk much unless it's to help others. This is another reason why her classmates like her so much. Jian is nice and outgoing most of the time. Plus she is getting really good grades and the teachers love her.

The day went by quickly with the teachers giving a lot of work for the break. Jian was quiet the whole day since there wasn't anyone talking to her.

Until it was the last class of the day and her business teacher called her up to give her the task for the break. Her business teacher was giving everyone different kinds of work and she was no different.

After getting her work Jian looked over it and asked the teacher, "Umm, Mr. Brown do I really have to start a business?"

"Yes, but you all have a business license already so just create a website and the other requirements on the paper," he said with a straight face. Then when she was about to walk away he added, "Also Jian, I need the products from your business when I see you all again." Jian sighed and walked away.

The rest of the class everyone just talked since Mr. Brown didn't care much about what they did. However, Jian wasn't like everyone else; she was on her laptop searching for the different kinds of businesses popular during that time. By the end of class, Jian found out that clothing businesses are really popular right now. As a result, she got an idea.

When walking home Jian thought about where her drawing book could be. When she was younger Jian had really creative designs for clothing, so she put them all in one book. Jian would draw a lot so much so that she would get distracted from everything else.

Until this year when they moved and she lost her book. Jian thought about it all day and then she remembered that she left the book at the bottom of her unopened boxes. That box is where she put in all the fabric she bought with her allowance.

The rest of the walk was happy and joyful for Jian. When she got home Jian searched for her design book under all her boxes being careful not to wake up her mother. When she found it Jian selected some dress that she could make and then she chose the fabric she could use.

However, before she could make anything she had to get a sewing machine. Jian knew her mother did not have the money to buy her a machine. So she started to search for jobs online that hire 14-year-olds.
