1 Palace of Love or Nightmare

My name is Hikari Ayase. I am the youngest daughter of Akane Ayase and Hayato Ayase. I have 2 older siblings. My brother, Arata Ayase, and my sister, Chiko Ayase. Arata Ayase is the oldest heir of the family. In my family, when you have your coming of age ceremony your parents will choose a husband for you. My sister, Chiko Ayase, had fallen in love with the second eldest son of the Saito family, Taichi Saito. My parents had arranged for me to marry Taichi and my sister to get married to another family. My sister was pissed off and always fought with my mom. Taichi and I started to fall in love and my sister only got more furious. My sister decided to plot a murder so that as the youngest of the family, I would get adopted and for my sister who is already of age, she can get taken care of by my brother.

I am now 26, married to Taichi and have 2 children, Akari Saito and Hinata Saito. My family and I have always decided to live a normal life. Since my older sister felt that she was in control due to her age but my family and I decided to make a plan. During the night that we were supposed to make our escape, I received a gift box with a hologram inside it. It was nothing like the technology in the modern day. I listened to the hologram but I couldn't understand what the hologram was saying. It was speaking in an unheard of language. The only thing I could decode from whatever that was being said was "You will be reunited with the one at the break of dawn". I heard footsteps getting louder and louder as they came towards the door. Everything went blank. I didn't know where I was or what I was in.

When I opened my eyes. I was all tied up at the banks of the river. I saw a feminine figure standing alongside 2 masculine looking figures. It was my sister! She had hired people to kill me so that she could get Taichi. I told her that it would never happen in history. 2 young figures came and knocked my sister along with her henchmen down. They were my 2 beautiful children. They had explained what had happened back home and I was devastated. I heard rustling noises around us and told my kids to hide behind me. I asked whoever was there to come out. The figure stumbled out and it was no one other than Taichi. He was covered in cuts and bruises. I was glad to see my family but saw 2 shady figures hidden in the background. I told Taichi to take the kids and go to my brothers' house.
