Burning Passion : Breaking All Rules

When love blossoms unexpectedly between a teacher and student, it is utterly passionate but also dangerous. Spying eyes linger even inside the most deserted hallways, waiting hungrily for a drop of fiery gossip. Gossip which can spell ruin for James’s famed career and for Lia’s chances at her dream university. Heartbreak follows more heartbreak when the two are separated for years through a spider web of misunderstandings and lies, only to be reunited again when fatefully James is Lia’s boss at work. The burning passion which was hidden away for years sparked again, and this time neither of them wanted to hold it in.

Chapter 86 - Robin

Mae, Liya, Ashton and Robin head back to their car after a heavy dinner. They quietly get seated as Robin starts the vehicle. Each one of them retires to their own head space collecting and analysing their thoughts as Robin drives to Ashton's place.

"We need to talk," says Ashton as Liya gets down to say goodbye.

"I know. We will." Liya leans forward for a quick hug. "Sleep well. See you."

"See you, Liya." He waves at Robin and Mae sitting in the jeep and gives a melancholic look at Mae. She smiles back wistfully.

Robin drives to Liya's and Mae's mansion. He gets down the vehicle to help Liya with her bags. "Liya, I-" He stops midway as Mae butts in between them to take her bag.

"You're going to give them to Liya? We can drop it here later, let it be in the trunk."

"What do you mean? I'll take them with me now itself."

Robin frowns at Mae. "Aren't you coming with me?"

Mae motions at him to wait and escorts Liya to their entrance. "You go up. I'll be back."
