Chapter 20 - He Won't Let Me Go

It's the next day and Lia is in the college.

She's tired and the day has not even started yet. A part of Lia did not want to come to college at all but she has lectures and she doesn't want to start missing out on them from the very beginning.

Lia is walking to the entry gate as she watches Emery stand near by inside the campus.

Emery waves her hand and she has a soft smile on her face, it's clear that she's excited about something but what it is actually is not something Lia is aware of.

Though, Lia doesn't have the energy in her to do anything or even be happy at all but she can not let her friend's happiness die down because of her own mood.

So she waves back and plasters a smile across her own face as well.

When Lia enters inside, Emery runs to her and grabs her arms. Obviously Lia can see through Emery's eyes that she's happy and it makes her smile genuinely.

Seeing Emery happy really makes Lia feel happiness creep into her heart as well.
