2 Edgy cosplay bastards

Batman tapped his fingers on the desk as sat and kept watched the cell through the security screen. In the white room, a teen boy laid on the bed wearing a white shirt and trousers. The boy did not move, just slept silently under the Dark Knight's vigilant eyes. It's been two hours since superman brought and laid that boy on that bed and that's the amount of time Batman kept watch.

Batman kept staring at the screen while tapping his finger on the desk, he didn't even flinch when he heard the door behind him slip open and someone walked in. Judging by the footsteps he immediately knew it was Superman, the one who brought the boy here.

"You don't have to keep watch, you know," said Superman from behind.

"It would be careless to leave someone of immense destructive capability unchecked, especially here," commented Batman. "Or you want to transport him to a cell with far better security which wouldn't need my watch."

Superman sighed. There is no getting through Batman in this situation.

"He is waking up, " said Batman catching Superman's attention.

The Man of Steel and the Dark Knight looked at the cell through the security screen. The teenager moved in his bed, his eyes opened slowly; adjusting to the bright white light that filled the room.

The boy leapt off his bed onto the floor with naked feet. "Where the hell am I?" he asked to himself.

The boy's head moved and looked around, he then breathed in a lungful of air and exhaled. "Calm down... calm down, Maguire. I have to get out of his place."

Batman remained stern listening to the boy through the device implanted his mask, the Man of Steel too heard the device through his enhanced hearing. Batman got off his seat and said, "Call Black Canary and Martian Manhunter, I need to ask some questions."

*****************************

Not much time later the cell door slid opened, Maguire still stood there, rubbing his forehead suffering from a light migraine. He lifted his chin and looked ahead as three figures entered his cell.

'What the fuck is it now?'

"I am here to asked a few questions." the dark masked man being the first one raised his voice.

'Why the fuck is this guy is wearing a bat costume? Is he a furry? But more importantly...'

"Where the hell am I?" asked Maguire rubbing his forehead, pointing his raised hand at bat-themed man. "And, who the hell are you?"

The bat-themed man did not answer, instead, he looked Maguire in his eye with an ineffective try of intimidation.

'Is that supposed to scare me?'

Maguire looked away massaging his temples for a moment then looked at the next one. The second one was a blonde-haired woman wearing a leather jacket, a leotard, fingerless gloves and fishnet stockings. She smiled kindly at him, trying to appear friendly. Maguire returned that smile with a dull confused look. The last one however made him stiffen. It was a green-skinned humanoid dressed in red and black with a passive look on his face.

'Who or what the hell is this thing? What the fuck?'

"I don't care, anymore," said Maguire. "I having a headache and I just want to go back home."

He stepped forwards towards the open cell gate then the man with the bat mask came in between.

'What now?'

"If you're planning to escape, allow me to point out that you're currently detained in the Justice League headquarter, and that there're 17 other members on sight should there be a need." The bat-themed man pointed out with a rough and stern tone.

Maguire's uncaring tone remained unchanged as he started into the masked man's eye: "I missed the part where that's my problem."

The masked man stared back and said, "Martian now."

"Let's get the obvious stuff out of the way. We couldn't samples of your blood while you were unconscious, and have found no picture of you through our databanks." He began calmly, with that growling voice he always seemed to be using. "So I want to know who you are and where you're from."

'To tell? Or, not to tell?'

Maguire remained silent for a moment like he was in a process of deep thinking then he spat, "No."

The masked man frowned and threatened, "We can do this the easy way, or the hard way. Cooperate, and we can work out a deal. Resist, and you'll be here a long time."

"Oh, edge lord, you are welcome to give it a try." challenged Maguire.

But before the masked man could do anything, the woman suddenly stepped forward to address Maguire.

"Look, we brought you from that desert, you're not locked up in prison. Isn't that a sign that you can trust us?" she asked him kindly.

'Serious, bitch?'

"Lady, I was resting on the sand as far as I remember," said Maguire. "I didn't need any help. You basically kidnapped me here."

"Can't argue with that statement." spat the green humanoid bluntly.

"See he gets it," stated Maguire pointing at the alien creature.

"This will probably take a while." She muttered to her colleagues. She had absolutely no idea how correct that statement could be.

"Well, I don't have much spare time to spend with you all edgy cosplay bastards."

Batman grumbled and stepped forward.
