   He had a "jealous husband" expression on his face, and she was torn between scolding him and being affected by his concern

. "You..." she said, staring at his expression of "jealous husband." She dropped her head and whispered,

His Adam's Apple swung involuntarily. "What proof do you have? Put an end to your mischief!" Eva had already been embarrassed to the point that she wanted to dig a hole and buried herself.
