Building The Technology

In this story, we will journey with Virtya Markov as he struggled to bring about the period of rapid industrialization and tech advancement that transformed society and paved way for modern civilization. Although Virtya Markov didn't have a cheater like system to help him to achieve his goals very quickly, he was not devastated because he was not only a genius but he was also a "librarian" in his past life. He knew his bad reputation and the lack of charisma will become a stumbling block in his path, thus, he thought of a plan, yes, a plan to not only unify the kingdom but also to bring it to newer heights in terms of development. But how will he manage to fabricate "heavenly" stuffs from his previous life when he didn't have the system or an extensive knowledge about engineering? Thus, Virtya Mariov came up with a plan... "I will build Shanghai, Tokyo, New York and Dubai. All these cities will stand in our kingdom!" Virtya uttered determinedly before he stared at the disoriented crowd which was giving him weird looks as if he was a clown. /"What is Tokyo city? Is it a new delicacy? When did our king start to cook for himself? Ok, What about New York? Is it a carriage?" The crowd was ablaze as Azuhai denizens discussed among themselves.../

The shameless Litkesh kingdom

"Yeah! That is the spirit that I like. You know you have put me in a frenzy. I feel like I should take a sword right now and go up to fuck that stupid king Brisbois. Well... Virtya. You have my full support to stop that shit. Who do he think he is?" Alexandre hollered which made the workers to stop what they were doing to stare at their side but the knights didn't allow them to stare for long as they ordered them to continue with their work.

"I will have to prepare our knights for what is to come in the future..." Tanya said but Virtya suddenly interjected her.

"No. It would require six months for the message to get back to the kingdom of Magyo and then another six months of preparation and their movement towards our kingdom thus, we have more than a year to prepare for the war against king Brisbois but you don't have to be overwhelmed. I will give you a training routine that you will impart upon these knights and then. I will be fabricating new and advanced weapons for you guys. I don't want to see any knights dieing on the battlefield. We will go and come out as heroes without anyone amongst us falling." Virtya said obstinately while Tanya nodded her head. She was serious about the war that was coming upon them.

"However, what I was afraid of has happened. This problem will affect us badly if we don't take it seriously." Both Tanya's and Alexandre's ears perked up as they awaited to hear the problem that was a bad news than king Brisbois'order.

"Our demand for the iron ingots has surpassed the supply. I fear that if this continues on, our projects will have to stop and also the blacksmithing guilds will have to close their doors."

"Alexandre, what do you think we should do? The suppliers of the iron ingots from the kingdom of Litkesh have already gotten the intel of our absurd use of iron, they have thus increased the price of the iron ingots tremendously, the price of an ingot has more than quadrupled, which is absurd. I fear that in this case, we will no longer be able to sponsor these projects, the treasury is running slim since we still have running projects that need money to finance."

"I think we should teach this damn Litkesh kingdom a lesson or two, I have just gotten a report that they have also started to make the farming tools that we are making here, those despicable vermins stole the technology from us for certain." Alexander Daviau said exasperatedly.

"The Litkesh bastards have not only stolen our technology, but they have also attacked our other suppliers of iron ingots from the Ugley kingdom (A neighbouring kingdom to both Litkesh kingdom and Azuhai.) they went ahead and paid for the ingots so that they could sell them to us at an absurdly increased price or use the ingots to make the farming tools and once again sell those tools to us. The Ugley merchants didn't have an otherwise as they could also save some money if they sell to Litkesh because Litkesh is closer to Ugley as compared to Azuhai."

"I am sure those bastards want to monopolize both the iron market and the ox drawn plough market by controlling us, Your highness, I think it is about time that we show those fucking bastards where they belong. All the iron mines there will be ours after we conquer the kingdom of Litkesh. We should have the capability to do that, right?" Alexandre Daviau expressed his hate towards Litkesh kingdom.

Virtya nodded his head as he was as well pissed off by the people of Litkesh.

"What about the Litbridge kingdom, what do they say. The iron that we ordered last year should have reached into the city by now, right?" Shura Roosevelt asked Alexandre.

"I have not heard from those guys for a long time." Alexandre shook his head before he continued,

"Those simpletons are probably at it once again. Their racial war never ends. They would fight each other like maniacs until one of the group falls, I don't know when they would finish their silly racial fights when there are over ten races in Litbridge kingdom." Alexander Daviau was even more agitated, he walked back and forth while cursing.

"Phew!" Virtya huffed and then leaned against the pole that was supporting the roof before saying,

"We will leave Litkesh kingdom as it is, there is no need to indulge in a war with Litkesh kingdom as they had not yet instigated any fight with us, I will let Tanya to prepare for Magyo kingdom instead, this is because Magyo is upon us, not to mention that Magyo kingdom is more valuable than the little Litkesh kingdom... You know how the Litkesh denizens behave, and it had been that way since time immemorial, it is anticipated from their competitive and shameless behavior to copy what we have invented and be a stumbling block to us."

"They are imbeciles who like to take what is not theirs for themselves, f*ck those bastards." Spitting aside a mouthful of spittle, Alexandre Daviau didn't like it now that Virtya had turned down the suggestion to conquer Litkesh kingdom. He could only grit his teeth and curse Litkesh.
