Sun Yi, I Am Actually Not the Protagonist!

--- Chapter 1 ---

Primal Qi World.

Everyone cultivated Primal Qi and aimed to be the best in this world. They raced against each other to become legendary Primal God who could blow of a mountain range into smithereens and travel into the starry sky.

Only those with strength could survive in such a world.

Glory, rich, legacy, longevity, beauty, you name it.

Yup, this is your typical classic cultivation world.

Northern Qi Continent is a land of danger and opportunity where humans, demons, and spirits live in disharmony. Yet Qi Masters are flourishing in this god-forsaken land.

On the Northwest of the Continent, the Primal Sirius Empire has stood for over ten thousand years and has a deep background.

The Primal Sirius Empire has countless Qi Experts, but nine individuals or princes are the most famous. They are the most talented youngsters and fought each other for the right to the imperial throne.

Everyone except one prince. They called him the Lazy Sixth Prince.

"It's not my fault that I'm lazy, okay?" Said a young man in a blue imperial robe sitting on a mahogany chair. The young man looks no older than fifteen with short golden hair and sleepy blue eyes.

He's handsome, but something about his aura is off. Well, maybe because the young man wasn't motivated and had little to no presence.

His name is Sun Yi.

He was an ordinary young man named Budi Bondan Prakoso from the 21st Century who transmigrated into the Primal Qi World after getting rammed by a truck.

That was two months ago, and even then, Sun Yi still hasn't got his cheat!

"Damn it!" Sun Yi grumbled while reading Qi Cultivation Methods in the Imperial Palace's Library.

"Those cultivation novels lied to me. Where is my damn cheat?"

"I didn't ask much. A godly system would do."

"Uugh, maybe a godly system is too much..."

"What about a fusion system? That guy named Yunlong breeze through everyone with it."

"If not, the Upgrade System will do. I can upgrade my luck and live forever."

"Please, god, demons, buddha... Sign-In System, yes, that doesn't sound too bad."

"What about a superpower that could kill anyone instantly? Nope, that is lazy writing."

Sun Yi roared as he slammed the book on the table, "Please, just give me something!"

Miraculously, the book bounced and hit Sun Yi on the head.

Thud!

Sun Yi fell to the ground and stared at the ceiling silently.

"Fuck!"

"Sixth Prince, have you gone insane?" A woman in a maid outfit looked down at Sun Yi.

Sun Yi's mouth twitched, "I said don't disturb my reading time, Lu Xia."

Lu Xia is Sun Yi's maid and also his bodyguard. She was also the closest person Sun Yi had in this fierce Imperial Family.

After transmigration, Sun Yi always relied on this dependable maid to survive in this damned household. He couldn't imagine a day without poison or an assassin around if she didn't protect him.

In fact, Lu Xia becomes Sun Yi's personal maid because his sick mother assigned her to him.

And no, Sun Yi's mother is still alive.

Her name is Lu Wan'er.

She is the third wife of the Primal Sirius Emperor, coming from the Elite Lu Clan. Unfortunately, she has congenital heart disease and couldn't move much from her bed.

It was a miracle that she could give birth to Sun Yi.

Although not confirmed, Sun Yi was sure he wasn't the protagonist.

Why? Well, it is because Sun Yi has no tragic background!

Sun Yi wasn't an illegitimate prince whose mother was conveniently a maid who slept with the emperor and made him fall in love with her.

Nor was he a heavenly genius who lost his talent and got his engagement annulled.

Although Sun Yi has a fiancee, their relationship is normal.

Heck! Sun Yi wished he could find an ancient ring with a ghostly expert from god-know where so he could get a teacher.

But no, Sun Yi has tried that method and bought countless useless spatial rings instead.

However, Sun Yi might know who the protagonist of this world is.

Sun Yi and Lu Xia bickered in the library and suddenly heard noises outside.

"What was that?" Lu Xia warily glanced at the window.

"Let's check it out." Sun Yi said while jumping off his seat. He ran toward the window and peeked.

"Well..."

On the outside, Sun Yi could see three familiar faces.

They are his brothers.

Two are the Eighth and Ninth Princes, Sun Ming and Sun Xuan.

They are currently bullying a poor-looking boy named Sun Long. He has a bruised yet handsome face and wears little to no clothes, almost rag.

If you guessed that Sun Long was the Sirus Emperor's illegitimate son, then you'd be damn right.

Sun Long has nearly all of the protagonist's templates.

His mother is a lowly maid who died recently.

He was also once known as the rising tenth prince but lost his talent randomly and got his engagement annulled.

Right now, everyone has a tacit understanding and completely forgot about him. They called him the forgotten tenth prince instead.

Yup, perfect.

Sun Long is the protagonist!

"Xia, give me a seat and popcorn." Sun Yi waved his hand.

"Yes, Sixth Prince." Lu Xia nodded. She put a mahogany chair beneath Sun Yi before pulling out warm popcorn from her spatial storage.

Sun Yi sat and enjoyed the show with his maid.

...

Bam!

Sun Long got kicked into the bushes. He groaned in pain and gritted his teeth.

"Sun Long, I told you not to get close to Lady Murong anymore." Said the ninth prince. "You're trash."

"No mother, no talent, nothing!"

"If I were you, I would have walked out of the imperial palace myself from shame!"

Sun Long clenched his hand, "I'm also a prince! I have the right to stay and cultivate in the palace!"

"Say again?" The eighth prince kicked Sun Long in the guts.

Bam!

"Arrgh!" Sun Long screamed at the top of his lungs.

They laughed at Sun Long's miserable appearance and pointed their fingers.

"A trash like you doesn't deserve to be a prince."

"Hehe, Go become a beggar somewhere!"

"If you don't leave by the morning, I will finish you off." After saying that, the eighth and ninth princes left, followed by their lackeys.

Rumble!

...

"Holy..." Sun Yi cursed while looking at the sky.

"I'm sure the weather was sunny a moment ago."

"Yeah, that was weird." Lu Xia backed him up.

They watched Sun Long stand up with difficulty. He vowed to pay for this humiliation back in a hundredfold and get a reaction from the sky as lightning struck him.

BOOM!

Since they were close to the lightning strike, the window exploded, and several glass fragments flew to Sun Yi and Lu Xia.

"Sixth Prince!" Lu Xia conjured a shield made of Primal Qi.

"Dayum." Sun Yi didn't care about the glass fragments. He looked down curiously and saw a golden aura coming from Sun Long's body, forming a mighty golden dragon.

At the same time, Sun Yi felt something bursting from his chest, and his mind blanked out for a moment.

Lu Xia similarly looked down and gasped in disbelief, "T-The Legendary Primal Dragon Qi!"

"The tenth prince actually possessed such luck."

"With it, he has the potential to become a Primal God!"

"Sixth Prince."

"Sixth Prince!" Lu Xia shook Sun Yi's stunned body.

"What?" Sun Yi noticed that Sun Long had gone from his spot.

He didn't catch what Lu Xia was saying.

Sun Yi stared at Lu Xia and saw a string of numbers above her head. The numbers are 111,691.

There is also a fiery blue aura around her shaped like a spear.

"I-Is this my cheat?" Sun Yi felt he could see Lu Xia's potential value and innate aura.

Wait, how did he know these strings of numbers are his maid's potential value?

Drip!

"Eh?" Sun Yi wiped his nose and saw blood on his hand.

After that, Sun Yi's world turned upside down.

"SIXTH PRINCE!" Before Sun Yi fainted and everything become dark, he could hear Lu Xia's worried cry.
