83 Chapter 80

At the Twins, the Royal Army was beginning their siege of the first castle, which they need to take in order to cross the bridge.

The army had surrounded the Castle, with the Artillery lined up in the distance. The Elven Spearman were lined up in formation, marching towards the castle. Behind the formations were the mages, who deployed barriers to protect the Elven Spearman from arrows.

The Praetorian Guards would be used as a reinforcement unit, but since the garrison of the Castle was so little, there probably would be no need.

In the General's tent, Aleanna was talking with one of the shadow guards who infiltrated the castle "My Lady there are exactly 5k soldiers defending the castle and after seeing the army they have called for reinforcements from the other castle and now 10k soldiers are crossing the bridge to reinforce the first castle"

"I see, so they think they can hold the first castle with 15k soldiers against our almost 40k" Aleanna didn't even care since no amount of soldiers can stop them from taking the twins

As she continued talking with the Shadow Guard about the enemy defenses, a soldier had come into the tent "My Lady the enemy have sent somebody down from the castle to talk with us"

"Okay, allow them in and tell the Commanders to have the Elven Spearman to just stand in formation in front of the castle" Aleanna only had the Elven Spearman march towards the castle to intimidate them, and it worked since they called for reinforcements, so now Aleanna can destroy all the defenders in one siege.

A few minutes later, a man dressed in a knight's attire of House Frey was escorted into the tent. Aleanna had already covered up the plans that were on the table, so he couldn't see what their plans were.

Aleanna motioned for him to sit down, but he declined, saying that he will stand "I think I will stand instead" Said the man as he looked around looking for the leader of the army and there he saw Achilles sitting down at the table

"You must be the leader of this army I am Lord Raymund Frey a Knight of house Frey and also the eleventh son of Lord Walder Frey, I was sent here to negotiate with the leader of this army" Said Raymund

Achilles looked at the men, since he knew the reason why he didn't think that Aleanna was the leader of this army, It was because she was a woman.

"My Lord, you are mistaken I am not the leader of this army" Said Achilles

Raymund had smirked when he heard that "Then I guess the rumors were true, the Empire has a Woman as a General"

"My Lord Father will allow your army to pass in exchange for a marriage and if you ensure us that we will remain untouched by the Lannisters" Said Raymund. House Frey had originally restored their relationship with the crown, and he had received insurance from Tywin Lannister after killing Robb and Catelyn Stark, but now Tywin is dead and the insurance that they received was slowly becoming obsolete.

Many other Lords had started openly saying their disapproval of the actions that they had taken and many had stopped trading with them, making their money income almost go negative.

Aleanna knew what Raymund was suggesting, but she had no intention of stopping the siege on the Twins since the Frey's have been sentenced to death by Maximus, but she still decided to play along, making him think that she was interested.

"What are you suggesting, Lord Raymund" Asked Aleanna

"My Lord Father will allow you to pass if you marry him" Said Raymund. Personally, he would like to take her as his wife, but marrying his father would be more beneficial for the House.

Aleanna had tried not to laugh, but she couldn't hold it, and she burst out laughing from what Raymund said, since if Maximus was here Raymund would probably already be dead from what he suggested.

Raymund was looking confused as to why she was laughing, since he didn't say anything funny.

Aleanna wiped her eyes from laughing so much "I'm sorry Lord Raymund it's just what you said was funny, me marry Lord Frey that is something that will never happen not in a million years"

Raymund wanted to slam his fist on the table, but he remembered where he was at and the stories he had heard of what the Empire does to its enemies.

"My Lady, that is the only offer that we are willing to make" Raymund was lying since he was really sent here to get information on the enemy troops but so far he all he has done is talk with a woman.

"We were never going to accept your offer in the first place, so I don't really care, and you can return back to your little castle now, but hiding behind those walls won't save you for long" Said Aleanna

Raymund slammed his fist on the table and started yelling since he wasn't going to let a woman threaten him like that, "Listen here Bitch I could have you...Ughh"

Raymund's throat was grabbed by something, and he was slung to the ground. One of the Wizards who was standing by the Tent had heard what Raymund said and took action, hearing him call Aleanna a Bitch.

The Wizard had used his magic to form a Magic Whip and grab Raymund by his throat. Raymund who was on the ground struggling to breathe, couldn't even speak a word.

"Take him and tie him up somewhere but keep him alive" Said Aleanna

The Wizard nodded and dragged him off somewhere.

Aleanna looked at Achilles who was silent this entire time, "His Majesty would have done something way worse than what that Wizard did, but I'm not that cruel, or at least that's what I like to think"

"If his Majesty would have done something worse than I can only imagine" Said Achilles

Achilles and Aleanna had continued doing what they were doing before Lord Raymund had came in which was making plans for the siege since now more soldiers were defending the walls.

At Storm's End, a Dwarf army of 40k soldiers had just landed and were going to stop the 60k Lannister and Vale army from sieging High Garden.

With this army was Dáin Ironfoot who was leading this army.
