Chapter 74

Now that the North was under the control of Maximus, Bran was named Duke of the North and would rule the North as a Duke under the Emperor.

Bran was still underage, so his territory would be managed by somebody until he comes of age. But in that time he would be educated on how to rule and manage his territory and also his new duties as a Duke under the Emperor.

After the long meeting was over, which lasted hours, the Lords had returned to their territories to carry out their duties. They were allowed to keep their status as lords and continue to rule their territories.

Though once the War is over Maximus will reform the entirety of Westeros into a new Government and make massive changes.

After the Lords had left Winterfell, Maximus had used the Communication Ring which had been created by the dwarves to allow for long distance communication between the Emperor and his subjects faster.

The Communication ring was enchanted with runes which will allow the person wearing it to contact another person who also has the communication ring. The ring will listen to your voice and will contact the person that you want to speak to as long as they have a ring, if they don't then the ring will not contact anyone.

In the future, once peace has returned to the Empire, another type of magic communication might be released to the public.

Maximus had contacted Julius, who also had a communication ring "Julius how are you doing"

"Good your majesty I am currently in Pentos with an army of 30k men awaiting your orders" Said Julius

"Well I am sure the soldiers are eager for combat but will have to wait a little longer but for now I want you to take the 2nd Imperial Fleet and take over Dragon stone and start mining the Dragonglass that is located there and also turn the Castle into a solid fortress" Said Maximus

"Is this because of that Night King your Majesty" Asked Julius since he was told about the night King and has heard something's which has been happening beyond the wall

"That and It will be a good location to stage an invasion against Westeros, and it is a strategic point which could be used to block any Navy and ships coming or going to Kingslanding"

"Alright then I will take the Castle and turn it into a solid fortress and begin the operations to mine the Dragonglass" Said Julius

"Good because we have yet to be able to get any more Valyrian Steel to even equip more than a hundred soldiers and the only other thing that we could use would be fire and the dragon glass" Said Maximus

"I see, then I will take the fortress immediately" Said Julius as he ended the communication and left to do his duty

After Julius was given his mission, Maximus contacted Hanzo who was the Leader of the Hidden Ninja Village which location in the Empire was unknown to anybody even Maximus. Though, if Maximus ask Hanzo, he will be able to know the location just like that.

"My Lord you called" Said Hanzo as he answered his communicator

"Yes, how are things looking in Westeros after I have conquered the North"

"Well, Queen Cersei has publicly denounced our actions and called us foreign invaders and called for the rest of Westeros to rally to her cause and defeat us"

"And what were the reactions from the other Kingdoms" Asked Maximus

"Well, the Reach have decided to lie low as they have supported you secretly and want to keep Mace Tyrell alive since they know that the Queen would do anything. But what they don't know is that the Queen has gathered together an army of 60k men, made up of Lannisters and Vale Knights.

She plans to send that army to Highgarden and charge the Tyrell's with treason against the crown and destroy their entire House" Explained Hanzo

"If that's the case, then we need to get Mace Tyrell out of there immediately and stop that army from reaching Highgarden" Maximus had put his hand on his chin as he just thought of something good.

"My Lord I have already rescued Lord Mace Tyrell and replaced him with a doll so should anything happen Lord Mace Tyrell will be safe" Said Hanzo since he had already predicted something like this would happen

"Good now about the other Kingdoms" Said Maximus

"Dorne has not answered the request but in secret still show's hostility towards the Lannisters and because of this I have been meeting with Lord Doran Martell in hopes of getting him to submit and in return House Lannister as planned will be wiped from the Continent I hope my decision doesn't affect any of your plan's My Lord" Said Hanzo

"No not at all, in fact that would be great to get Dorne to send troops to help Defend High Garden while I prepare some more troops to send and help them so keep up your meeting with Lord Doran Martell to get him on our side" Said Maximus

"Yes My Lord I will complete this mission you have given me" Said Hanzo

After talking with Hanzo, there was a knock at Maximus's door. He already knew who it was, so he told the person to come in.

In front of him stood a man that was wearing his own Personal Greek armor, had medium chestnut colored hair which reached his shoulders.

"Achilles, I have a mission for you" said Maximus
