Building a Technological Civilisation in an Extraordinary Universe !

"Damn, why are you criticizing me? Do you have so much time in your life to waste so much saliva!" By insulting the readers and wishing for the eradication of humanity, I found myself in my own novel. However, instead of being reincarnated into the novel, I became the Liu Min I had written. With knowledge of the future and the global plot, can Liu Min fight his destiny and stand out from the other protagonists? Could he become a protagonist?

Chapter 10 : Ancestral Artifacts [2]

Exiting the First Middle School, Liu Min felt a gentle breeze caressing his face, bringing a refreshing sensation.

"Today, the weather is really good!"

After finishing the last hours of classes, Liu Min took the Express Train to seek and retrieve the ancestral artifacts buried in the ruins. He believed that, at this stage, the protagonist would have reached an unattainable level for the current moment. Unlike Liu Min, who pursued his academic career in the Qinxing region, the protagonist was trained in the Zhenzghou region under a powerful teacher who had retired and taken him as a disciple.

"It's been a while since I checked my current stats." thought Liu Min.

He focused his spiritual energy in his eyes, and a translucent window appeared.

[Status]

Name: Liu Min

Planetary Lord: First rank

Potential: ★★

Strength: ★

Agility: ★★

Endurance: ★

Spiritual Energy: ★

Lifespan: 23 years

Skill: [Martial Arts ★★]

Equipment: [Training Sword ★] [Uniform ★★]

Looking at his stats again, Liu Min let out a bitter laugh.

The overall rating system was divided into stars, as it was effective in understanding and analyzing the performance of each student's abilities.

Notably, the "Potential" statistic was crucial. Even though Liu Min had a two-star potential, he had managed to top the rankings at the beginning of the year thanks to his two-star martial arts skill before being defeated by Zhou You and the rest of his class.

Zhou You, with a four-star potential, could be defeated because his experience and stats were still at the one-star level. Thus, Liu Min had a slight advantage, but it would disappear as they learned new skills and increased their stats.

Placing his hand on his chin, he immediately began planning his next moves.

"Although my potential is low compared to others, considering my two-star potential, I could comfortably live out the rest of my days in other intermediate schools. Nevertheless, the world would inevitably fall..."

In today's society, he would be considered a talented individual, especially since the majority of the civilian population had only a one-star potential.

Honestly, his stats were not remarkably outstanding, unlike current geniuses like Sun Xia, who had a six-star potential, or the protagonist with multiple four-star stats at the moment.

"But if I could take the [Elixir], I could remove my physical limiter... but it would directly affect the protagonist..."

"Actually, given that the protagonist has a classified nine-star potential, it shouldn't really be a problem if I take it for my own benefit?"

Hmmm...

Liu Min realized that he had really overdone the current stats of his protagonist, but wasn't that enough to defend the universe?

Putting aside the [Elixir], he had given the protagonist the greatest potential, higher than the most powerful beings in the universe, and also provided the best equipment possible for his growth. Wasn't that a bit too unfair?

Liu Min was confused.

Now that he was in his own novel, he could somewhat understand the feelings of readers who complained that the protagonist's stats seemed too overpowered compared to the villains in the story. He couldn't deny it.

"So, it would be enough to limit his potential..."

This was certainly not an excuse he had invented at the last minute to acquire, with a clear conscience, the ancestral artifacts...

As he ascended the last steps of the station, he began to quicken his steps to catch the last available train before it departed.

"Even if the protagonist doesn't take the [elixir], he could still surpass limits thanks to other ancestral artifacts he had delicately placed in his path, so I guess it's not that bad that I borrow the ancestral artifacts he should have obtained during the story for an indefinite period."

Liu Min nodded with resolution.

To retrieve the [Elixir], he had to head to the Planet Association on the outskirts of the Qinxing region, a planet where he currently resided, known as a peripheral region of the nation, close to the conflict zone with the Empire.

It wasn't absurd to say that the strategic importance of the region was significant.

With the Republic Galactic conquering many planets, the regions were scattered in various places in the universe to distance them from each other. In total, there were about 5200 regions or planets at present that collected the main population.

But it was still a speck of dust in the universe.

After the first intergalactic battle, the map of the universe had completely changed. Before, the universe was a vast desert-like expanse of planets separating extraterrestrial civilizations, but the encounter of civilizations caused a universal war between the different current races, ending with a truce to allow civilizations to rebuild their main forces.

Then the second intergalactic war occurred, and borders began to change until a balance of powers finally stabilized at a ratio of 1/20 demons, 12/20 fantasy race, and 7/20 primarch.

Currently, the Primarchs occupied the South and East of the Universe, while the fantasy races occupied the Center, West, North, and the remaining available territories were occupied by the demons, who were still ignored due to their weak presence.

With the introduction of nations, new infrastructures and cities were built in each region, and among the constructed cities, several stood out from the others. The Chengxin region, the Jinling region, the Xinsu region, the Mingdu region, and Luminsa, the current capital of the Galactic Republic, located in the middle of the occupied territories. It was fundamentally protected by many regions that blocked invasions, so the risk of losing the capital was low.

But why were these regions important? It's because they were the first regions to collapse in the novel. In the novel, the beginning starts with the collapse of many galactic nations by demons, but it was ignored because it suited them.

Each region was important, even if they seemed to be ephemeral names in the novel. All were border regions. To protect the nation, schools were established in each region and competed for national rankings.

Schools were very important as they spanned the entire nation, emphasizing the education and development of new planetary lords with high-end facilities, even if they were divided according to the current rankings of establishments.

The FMS (First Middle School) was the first school in the region that could access its facilities. It had almost thousands of students, 100 field facilities, 100 classes, and 5,000 professionals and qualified teachers to take care of the students.

As an exemplary student of the First Middle School, Liu Min obtained many privileges as a student, and one of them was the ability to access all public transportation concerning travels, as he was doing now.

"Here's my card!"

Passing my student card to the ticket lady, he checked the available routes to reach the destination.

"Oh? You're a student of the First Middle School?"

She glanced in surprise at the FMS abbreviation; the saleswoman straightened up with a more polite tone and looked at him attentively. Being a student in such a prestigious school was an advantage in itself, even if Liu Min was no longer a remarkable student.

"Yes!"

"Where do you want to go?"

"Planet Association, please."

She recorded his journey and filled out his ticket before returning his student card and smiling kindly at him.

"Noted, safe travels, student Liu Min!"

"Thank you!"

Like that, Liu Min headed towards the Planet Association.
