< Months passed >

From the vantage point of the divine realm (the place above the church, where he always spends his time), Kami's gaze fell upon the sprawling expanse of the slums below.

The scene that unfolded before the deity's eyes was a testament to the tireless efforts of the faithful, a tapestry woven with threads of both mortal determination and divine influence. But beyond the transformed districts and the harmonious streets, Kami's attention was drawn to the heart of the Divinum Church's power: the Knight Temple and the Cathedral.

These structures, beacons of faith and unity, had undergone significant enhancements that radiated with the essence of the sacred. The Knight Temple, standing as a bastion of the Holy Knights' training and prowess, had been elevated to new heights. It bore the marks of progress, each stone and beam a testament to the commitment of those who had labored to see it improved.

A remarkable feat had been accomplished – with five tons of stone, three tons of wood, and a single sacred crystal, the temple had been fortified. Its grand halls and training grounds could now accommodate a larger force. The Deilux Order now consists of 40 Holy Knights and 80 Knights.

Kami's divine gaze turned to the Cathedral, it was clear that its sacred halls had expanded. The grandeur of the structure had been magnified, a reflection of the growing community's devotion. With ten tons of stone, six tons of wood, and a single sacred crystal, the Cathedral had been transformed into a spiritual haven that radiated with the light of the Divinum.

Within its walls, the devout found solace, and the prayers of the faithful rang like a chorus that reached the heavens. But it wasn't only the physical improvements that caught Kami's attention.

The Cathedral's enhancement had brought about a new source of divine energy. With the harmonious union of faith and structure, the upgraded Cathedral now generated +0.02 faith for every prayer offered within its sacred walls. Twice as much as before the update.

This manifestation of devotion provided a continuous wellspring of divine energy, fueling the efforts of the faithful and providing Kami with more Sacred Crystals.

The walls that had been under construction for months now stood tall and formidable, encircling the heart of the territory. Their completion was a symbol of unity, a physical manifestation of the people's commitment to safeguarding their newfound sense of hope and purpose. Kami's gaze lingered on the walls, recognizing the strength of willpower and faith that had brought them into existence.

The transformation of the eastern quarter was most evident in the the outer districts that were conquered in the Divinum's last campaign. Once a haven for chaos and lawlessness, it had now become an oasis of serenity and growth.

The diligent work of the priests, their unwavering faith, and their commitment to the Divinum Religion had not been in vain. The once-feared gangs, whose reign of violence had held the outer district of the East in its grip, had been swayed by the words of redemption.

Converted into the fold of the Divinum, they now stood as guardians of the peace they had once disrupted.

Kami's gaze drifted to the bustling streets below, where the inhabitants of the eastern quarter moved with purpose and resolve. The change was palpable – laughter and camaraderie had replaced the sounds of conflict, and the air was infused with a renewed sense of hope. The divine energy that permeated the atmosphere was a testament to the harmony that had been restored.

But Kami's vision extended beyond the walls of the eastern quarter. The rest of the slums were still in turmoil, caught in the throes of the transition from chaos to order. The priests continued their tireless work, reaching out to the hearts of those who had yet to embrace the teachings of the Divinum.

In the north and in the west the priests have less success. The Iron Fist's and Shadow Reapers know what happened to Old Man P. and deliberately spread false rumors that the Divinum religion were the children of Satan. Once you enter the East, you will never be able to leave it again.

The inhabitants, plagued by hunger and disease, are of course very susceptible to such rumors and keep a great distance from priests of the Divinum religion when they set foot in the North or the East.

The Iron Fists and Shadow Reapers immediately get rid of these priests, afraid of losing their control over the slum dwellers.

After losing more than 6 priests, Kami stopped sending them into the North and West.

In contrast to the north and west, the priests working in the south were more successful.

Many gangs and slum dwellers that border the Divinum Religion have already converted to the Divinum Religion and provide Esther with important informations from South.

_____________

In the heart of the bustling slum, amidst the cacophony of life's struggles, one figure stood out: Glenn.

A name that carried the weight of experiences, the scars of a life lived on the edges, and the potential for redemption. Glenn, once a feared member of a notorious gang that had ruled these streets, had now become a symbol of transformation.

His story mirrored the very essence of the change that the priests of the Divinum Religion sought to bring. With a rugged exterior that bore the marks of countless battles, Glenn's eyes held a glint of something different – a glimmer of hope that had been rekindled by the teachings of the Divinum.

He had once been a leader among the gang members, his name synonymous with fear and dominance. Yet, as the priests reached out to him, their words carrying the promise of renewal, Glenn found himself at a crossroads. The life he had known, the violence he had perpetuated, began to lose its hold on him.

In the quiet moments of reflection, Glenn remembered the days of his youth, the dreams he had harbored before they were eclipsed by the shadows of the slums. The priests' words resonated within him, stirring a longing for something more than the endless cycle of aggression. Guided by the priests' unwavering belief in his potential for change, Glenn took tentative steps towards a different path. The transformation was not easy – old habits die hard, and the lure of familiarity tugged at him.

But Glenn's spirit was unyielding, and he chose to embrace the teachings of the Divinum with a determination that surprised even himself. Through perseverance and the healing touch of the sacred artifacts (condenser), Glenn's scars – both physical and emotional – began to fade.

His encounters with the priests were not mere conversations; they were moments of reckoning, of shedding the shackles of his past and stepping into the light of a new beginning. Glenn's transformation rippled through the slums, like a beacon of hope that touched even the most hardened hearts.

His story became intertwined with the narrative of the Divinum Religion, a testament to the power of redemption and the possibility of change, no matter how dire the circumstances. As Glenn stood before the community that had once feared him, he became a living example of the transformative power of the Divinum. The priests' teachings had ignited a spark within him, a spark that had now kindled into a flame of purpose and compassion.

The name Glenn, once associated with fear, now resonated with a different energy – an energy of hope, of second chances, and of the unwavering belief that every soul, no matter how lost, could find its way back to the light.

In a slum that often seemed devoid of hope, Glenn's journey was a reminder that even in the darkest corners, the seeds of change could be sown, and redemption could be found. His transformation was not just a personal triumph; it was a beacon that illuminated the path for others seeking solace, healing, and the promise of a new dawn.
