11 Kiryūin Senpai

Even though the school doesn't allow its students to leave, it compensates with its facilities and commodities. One such example is the local park. A vast and well-maintained land to which every student has access to.

While walking across the park, I came to a critical realization. Who exactly should I be looking for? The message made no mention of what he/she looks like.

The huge boundless blue sky, soft and pure, floated above me, with streaks of white clouds coming and departing. I was very bored, and I had an hour to wait. Maybe I should've just gone with Matsushita for lunch.

I pondered until-

''Over here.''

I looked around wondering if that voice was meant for me.

"Ah..."

My eyes were stolen by her appearance.

Long platinum-silver hair and crimson eyes.

Delicate and beautiful, like finely carved porcelain, she was a girl who gave the impression of hardness as well as brittleness. There was no possibility such a conveniently lovely human being could exist.

She was dressed in her school uniform, with a black shirt under the red blazer and black tights that emphasized her thighs, along with a dark headband that complimented her sliver hair.

Her skin was white and smooth as if it was highlighted and looked shining. Looking at her face from the side, he couldn't think of any other word to describe it other than a perfect beauty. Her red eyes that looked as if they were emitting light themselves were filled with delight, it was as if her long eyelashes were hiding that amusement. That charming gaze was directed at me.

Her glossy pink lips were moving.

''You came quicker than I expected.''

Those red eyes were reflecting light in a sparkle.

Even the models who appeared on TV, when contrasted to the girl in front of my eyes, were just like regular people.

''Don't just stand there, come have a seat.'' She patted the empty bench.

While I do admire beauty, I'm not the type to be swayed away by someone's charm, much less their words.

The girl knitted her eyebrows and showed an annoyed expression when I just stood there in silence.

''I wonder if you don't have the intelligence to understand words? This is the first time I came across an animal like this...''

Aaand....she can be mean as well.

With a deep sigh, I approached her; even though I had no idea what she wanted, I saw no reason not to hear her out.

''Are you the sender?'' I asked while showing her my phone.

''Kiryūin,'' her devilish smile returning to her face. ''Fūka Kiryūin.''

She said her name like she was an evil lawyer about to bail me out of jail for that murder I definitely didn't cause. Wink, Wink.

''Kiyotaka Aya---'' I tried saying my name.

''I know.'' She cut me off with a mischievous smile.

I sat down next to her, making sure there was at least a couple of inches between us.

Just as I was about to ask what she wanted, Kiryūin sat up.

''You know what? I can't concentrate on an empty stomach, lets go grab lunch. My treat.'' She said while stretching her arms. Without even looking back she left, leaving me no choice but to follow her.

If only I knew how much nuisance this woman was gonna bring to me, I would've yeeted myself outta there ASAP, avoiding her like the plague.

But....fate had other plans with me.

[Matsushita POV]

I walked over to Palled. It's a really popular spot for first years, and it's where my friends and I normally meet up. I headed up to the table in the far-middle, where two of my buddies were already seated. Satou sipped her strawberry smoothie, while Karuizawa typed something on her phone. I sat down right next to her.

''Well?? where is he? Satou leaned in to whisper.

''He said he had other things to do'' I answered honestly.

''Uhh....really?'' Satou made a disappointed pout.

I was honestly surprised when she told us about her ah..little crush on Ayanokouji. I didn't think she would dabble into romance this fast, I mean it's only been a week.

But I'm not sure why she's making me ask him; wouldn't it be better if she did it herself?

''Remind me again what you even see in him?'' Karuizawa asked while scrolling through the latest fashion trends on her phone, clearly uninterested in the conversation. A half-eaten Italian croissant in front of her.

'' If you ignore his stunt in Day 1, he's sorta....h-he's actually k-kinda....well..'' Satou seemed to be struggling to say the last part.

''Satou, I don't speak mumbling...''

''Okayyy he's actually kinda hot, THERE I SAID IT!'' Satou was getting a little heated up. A faint blush was visible on her cheeks.

''Ayanokouji....Ayanokouji?.....Ayan------'' Karuizawa took a breather before tilting her head and closing her eyes as if trying to recall what he looked like. Jeez....Karuizawa, how do you not remember him...we're in the same class.

''Here...'' Satou sighed and handed over her phone, which had Ayanokouji's photo on it.

''Do I even wanna ask why you have his picture on your phone?'' Karuizawa raised an eyebrow.

''SHADDUP!'' Satou was completely flustered.

Karuizawa glanced at the screen and that was enough to jog her memory. ''Ohhh! he's the guy who's got a crush on our sensei!''

''H-hey don't s-say that!!!'' Satou panicked.

''What? it's not like I'm wrong.'' Karuizawa took a bite of her croissant. ''I'm pretty sure I saw him give a rose to sensei the other day.''

'' Y-Yeah well, I'm pretty sure I saw sensei throw it in the trash after class ended. So their feelings are obviously not mutual.''

''Now now let's not get feisty here,'' I tried to calm Satou down, I keep forgetting how sassy Karuizawa can be. Sometimes I feel like I act like a pillar for this group, making sure petty fights doesn't break out. ''I'm pretty sure it's illegal for a teacher to date their student anyway, so you can sleep soundly knowing nothing will ever happen between him and sensei.''

''Matsushita!!... I knew I could on you!!''

''Yeah don't worry it's not like he's gonna find another girl this fas..............OH MY GOD HE'S RIGHT THERE!''

Satou and Karuizawa turned their faces to where I was looking.

Entering the cafe was Ayanokouji himself with his usual deadpan expression, but what caught our eye was the girl next to him.

She was tall, almost taller than him, and stacked. Even from the layers of clothing, it was obvious that she had a strong, athletic build, and from the way she steps into the room like she fucking owns it. Anyone could tell she's a woman who is used to being in control.

A fearless smile planted on her face, one that could make a supermodel quit the business in shame.

When they passed through our table, the three of us instinctively ducked our heads so they wouldn't notice us.

''Huh....,'' Karuizawa observed as Ayanokouji and the mystery girl sat at the empty table in the corner of the cafe. ''Guess I really underestimated him.''

''W-what no w-way,'' Satou shrieked.

Karuizawa placed a hand on Satou's shoulder with a very serious look on her face, a face that is rarely seen.

''Karuizawa.....'' Satou looked at her like a pupil about to receive some secret advice from her sensei. A knowledge that could change the tides of war.

''Yeah.....give up, you got zero chance.'' She said casually.

''G-GUH...''

'' Ahem....How do I say this?...'' Karuizawa tapped her forehead, trying to come up with the words.'' You see Satou, you are a woman, but that, THAT'S A WOMAN. Capisce?''

''WHAT IS THAT EVEN SUPPOSED TO MEAN!?!''
