Preparation

Watching my sister storm off towards her room, I let out a deep sigh.

"Your sister?" Turning towards Alexa, I nod my head at her.

Looking towards the others, I can see them with their heads hung low, not even uttering a single word.

Turning my head towards the door leading to my sister's room once again, I felt a little burden on my chest knowing she's still hiding things from me even now.

What happened to her just now?

Why was she looking so haggard?

It seems something really has happened to her.... something wrong.

"Just wait for me, I'll be back in a minute." I said to everyone as I turn towards my sister's room and began to make my way there.

After arriving, I turned the door's knob only to find it locked.

Shit...

I then began knocking on the door a few times, only to receive a 'Get the hell out' answer.

"Sister, it's me Albert, you don't have to act like this, especially in front of my friends." I spoke through the door.

"So what? you guys are clearly up to something and you're not telling me!" My sister Anna responded behind the door.

"And so are you, something has happened to you and yet you're keeping it a secret." I responded back.

"I don't care! just leave me alone!"

At this, I began to get irritated at her stubbornness.

"Just unlock the goddamn door, and we'll have a proper talk with each other, just the two of us." I spoke again, but this time in a softly manner.

After I uttered those words, there was silence in the whole room.

Until...

"N-No, just get on with whatever business you're doing and leave me alone!" Anna suddenly yelled, surprising me for a moment.

This bitch...

After another wave of silence passed by between the two of us, an idea suddenly appeared inside my head.

Grabbing the .38 pistol that was tucked in my pants, I began to unload every bullets loaded inside and placed all of it in my pocket.

I can't believe I'm doing this, I must be a mentally insane person right now I think.

But... if it was to protect my family, I'd be happy to go crazier than this.

After making sure the gun was empty, I took a deep breath before immediately kicking the door open, breaking the lock quickly.

It was then followed by my sister's scream inside who I saw was on her bed covered with blankets, not only that, I heard a few gasps and yells behind me, the boys must've probably heard it.

"Albert, What the f*ck are you doing?!" Anna immediately screamed after seeing me burst inside the room, gun in hand.

"Albert?... Holy sh*t Albert!" I heard Kevin yell behind me as he and the others rushed behind.

Pointing the gun at the temple in my head, I backed off in the room's corner to show everyone that my life's fate depends on my sister.

"Albert, stop!" Anna screamed, tears forming on both of her eyes.

"Albert?! drop the f*cking gun!" Kevin and the others bursts inside the room, panic visible on their faces.

Staring at them all, I began to crack a smile.

"Albert please! what do you want?!" Anna began to cry in panic.

Keeping silent, I turn my head towards Alexa who was standing besides Christian, smirking.

Oh, does she know?

Winking at her, I then turn my head towards Kevin and the boys, who was desperately trying to convince me to put the gun away.

"I swear to god Albert, if you don't drop the gun..."

"Albert, are you mad?!"

"Please Albert, if you have any problems, you can talk to us about it!"

"What about the goddamn plan about taking over Abok's businesses and earning more and extra cash!"

After that sentence was blurted out, we all turn our heads towards Dave and stared at him in silence.

Nick was the first one to react as he quickly smacked Dave's head, earning him an 'ow' response from him.

Then Anna, who shakily turned her head towards me in shock, and at the same time, anger.

"Albert... d-drop the gun and we'll talk about it, alright?" she tried to calm me and herself down.

Staring at her for a moment, I gave her a scoff... before finally opening my mouth to speak.

"If... If you tell me what happened to you-" she suddenly interrupted me.

"NO! absolutely not!"

"Fine then" I merely spoke as I placed my finger on the trigger and slowly squeezed it.

"ALBERT! NO-"

*click*

All of them gasped as they stared at me with shock and surprise.

"Albert, please." Anna begged.

"C'mon Albert, stop it." Kevin added.

"I had a single bullet loaded up inside one of it's chambers, so the probability of my head getting blown apart the next time I rotate the cylinder and squeeze the trigger is very likely." I explained to them all.

"Albert, you've gone mad!" Kevin tried to run towards me, only to get pulled and held back by the other boys.

"Stop it Kevin, he'll kill himself!"

Pfft, what idiots...

Turning towards Anna, I asked her once again.

"What... happened.. to you?" I glared at her with coldness in my eyes.

And yet...

"Albert, you don't have to do this." Anna begged again, her tears staining her blouse as if she was soaked in a bucket of water.

*Click*

I quickly squeezed the trigger again, making the people in the room gasp with surprise and fear.

"ALBERT!" Anna screamed, her face a mess due to the saliva and snot that she spat everywhere.

"Alright then..." I merely spoke as I prepare to pull the trigger again.

But just as I was about to squeeze it, Anna finally relented.

"Jamie! it was Jamie and his friends, t-they..." she spoke, hate and fear clearly audible on her voice.

"WHAT?!" all of us yelled in response.

I thought the bastard was in juvie...

"C-Can you drop the gu-" before Anna could finish her sentence, I immediately lowered my gun and tucked it in my pants, causing everyone to breath a sigh of relief.

"I can't believe you've done that Albert, you're f*cking crazy!" Nick said, causing the others to nod in agreement.

"So we okay now? because I believe there are other pressing matters that we need to attend to." Alexa cleared her throat, before continuing, "And who's Jamie?"

Before we could respond to her question, Anna suddenly rushed out from the bed and came sprinting towards me.

Caught in surprise, she managed to tackle me on the floor and began to lightly and repeatedly smack my chest over and over again.

"You stupid, f*cking... idiot." she yelled in anger as I endured every blow that came from her.

I can also hear the boys in the room slightly gasped in shock and surprise as they watched my sister's current behavior, but none of them even uttered a single word.

"A-Anna stop... I-It was not loaded in the first place." I suddenly spoke, causing Anna to stop and stare at me with a complicated expression.

"W-What?!" her eyes began to burn in fury, while the others in the room stared at us with amusement.

"But still, I can't believe you were willing to kill your brother twice just to keep it a secret." I then look at her with disgusts and pushed her off of me.

"Albert... it was not.." she did not finish her sentence as she lowered her head in shame.

Turning towards the boys, I can see Kevin walking towards me.

"Bastard, you scared us there." Kevin nervously chuckled.

"Yeah, don't ever do those things again." Christian added, slightly patting me on the shoulder.

Glancing at Alexa, I can still see her awaiting our response on her question about who's Jamie.

"Alexa, I am sorry to tell you that we need to temporarily cancel our attack against Abok." I said to her.

She then turned her head towards me with shock, after a few seconds of silence, she then nodded her head and began to make her way towards the exit, banging the door loudly as she leaves the building.

F*ck, is it really worth it to miss this opportunity...?

No no no, family must come first.

Turning towards the others, I opened my mouth to speak.

"I reckon you already know who Jamie is and what kind of man he is." I said to them all.

They all nodded their heads.

Staring at Anna who is quietly sobbing on the floor, I moved my gaze back towards the boys again.

"Is there any complaints and dissatisfaction about our change of plans?" I asked all of them.

After a minute of silence and not receiving any response from them, I nod my head at them, indicating I took their silence as a 'nope'.

"Alright, first of all, that arises the question, how the hell did he and his friends got out of the juvie so f*cking early?" I immediately asked out loud.
