1 Ch.1 the meeting

"Ouch!" I shouted while I bumped into a stranger. "S-sorry!" I shouted and ran off without a second thought. when I got home I ran upstairs ignoring my mother's calls.

"Maya!" she shouted. "For the last time! COME HERE!"

"what do you want?" I grumbled as I dragged myself down the stairs.

then she handed a list of things for me to do.

1.do the dishes

2.clean your room

3.practice magic

4.go shopping

why can't she leave me alone!?

"oh I forgot!"

"yes mom?"

"we have a guest coming over today, so behave!"

I rolled my eyes.

*ding* *dong*

"oh! that must be him! can you get the door?"

"sure." I said. I'm too tired for this.

When I opened the door, I saw a man about the same age as me, he was a little taller then me. but that isn't the thing I was thinking about. this was the guy that I bumped into this morning!
