"Listen, fitts, if you don't tell him, he's going to take at least another year to figure it out".

Alex tried to explain patiently, but if he was being honest, it was running thin.

"You know I can't do that Alex, what if he rejects me?".

The said fitts, who was actually the childhood friend of two brothers named Sylfie.

This argument was happening in the student council president's room, basically he, the princess, and Luke were against Sylfie, trying to convince her to tell the truth to Rudeus.

"You're being irrational, judging from what Alex told us, he is looking for you, why would he reject you?".

asked the princess, quietly and patiently, trying to use facts to calm the emotional elf down.

Needless to say... it didn't work.

(For Fuck's sake, what's wrong with this woman? why don't I have problems like this with Eris? is Eris special or is it Sylfie...?).

He just sighed, deciding to return to this subject another time, right now, he had another headache to deal with.

"Okay, whatever, can anyone tell me why is there an abundance of beastman right in front of the library?".

As he asked that, he looked outside the window, looking at the... straight line of them?.

"Oh, it's mating season, they are here to challenge Your brother for the right to marry one of his "Underlings", it's a tradition".

Explained Luke, also watching the line in wonder, before looking at the back and raising an eyebrow.

Alex looked over and noticed a black figure...white hair, four arms... tall as...

Before anyone could say anything, Alex was gone, the door was opened, three bewildered teens were left behind.

Alex rushed outside of the building, dodging every student that got in his way, the only reason he didn't jump out of the window is that he knew nothing would happen before Rudeus and Badigadi had a conversation.

he burst out of the door to the scene of the Badigadi beating up everyone in the crowd one by one, it was a word sight to anyone who knew his standing as the number three, just above him.

Calming down, he walks forward slowly, still looking at the weird sight in front of him.

stopping a few dozen feet before he reached them, he crossed his arms and waited and observed.

the giant hulk lookalike was using only one hand to knock out his opponents.

and that said something since he had four of them.

By the time Rudeus came out of the library because of the noise, since the "Challengers" were Quiet before the white-haired man came.

Having had enough, Alex channeled the holy energy to his body and Tuki.

Blasting off from his position, his leg landed on Badigadis's face, knocking him off his balance... by shooting him across the clearing into a building, cracking the wall.

If he used more force there would be a straight line going through buildings before the giant reached a clearing.

"Alex!? what happened?".

His brother exclaimed, running up to him.

Seeing his battle-ready posture, he tended, Rudeus knew Alex never went into ready stance if the threat wasn't high enough.

Creating a rock and using mana to make it dancer, increase its speed and add rotation, he turned in the direction of the black giant... which reminded him of hulk only this guy had a spare pair of arms.

"Who's that?".

Alex only glanced at him before returning his gaze back to where it was.

"that's Badigadi, one place above me in the worldly power ranking, If shit hits the fan ill take him out of the town and fight him in a clearing".

He explained quickly, not taking the eyes off the demon that already stood up and grinned at him.

Scowling at the situation, he enlisted what he knew of him.

(The guy can't die, doesn't take anything seriously, but when he does, god help them, he's also one of the Apostles in the later volumes...).

Unsheathing his sword, he got ready to switch places with one of the pebbles near his opponent when he felt another presence.

He couldn't help it, the situation practically demanded it, his brother would agree with him, judging by the look on his face.

Alex summed up the situation with one word.

looking to his right, a tall but slim man was standing near the gate, marking near his eyes, slits inside the pupils, White coat with fur on the neck.

Orsted was watching him with the intensity he had only seen on Eris before when he offered her the training in the lightning mana.

Rudeus stammered out, not expecting someone who had nearly killed him to appear in front of him so suddenly.

(...If I fight them, I can kill them, the city won't be here anymore though...).

Alex started thinking about a solution but eventually came up with nothing if the three of them engaged in combat.

(...What are the chances of me killing an immortal and a half-dragon?...meh it's alright).
