It will be hard to understand, that in the whole world only one city had its lights turned on that night, millions of people stood on the streets, all wearing black, of all ages and races, and no one uttered a word. The streets were filled with silence, a look of pain and suffering in their eyes while most couldn't hold back their tears, everyone faced the highest building in the city, staring at the figure of a man standing on the ledge looking down at them.

Behind him stood ten men and women, staring with sorrow at his back. Some of them longed for it, while others felt nostalgic, the only thing they knew was watching him from behind, thinking back at it now it became a habit to all of them. That person stood in front of them whenever things went awry, or chaotic, he was always there with his back turned against them, a sense of security. They longed to surpass him, yet after so many years the gap only grew further away, but we can say, that everyone here, and the millions of people below filling the city, all looked up to him. That man, standing there, smoking his black cigarette, watched the starry dark sky with his bright golden eyes, thought they had such a vivid color nothing could hide the deep sense of pain and solitude that filled them, bringing tears to the people standing behind him.

Finishing up his smoke he sat down on the edge, stared down once again at the people below him, and couldn't help but smile, those people were all crying for him, his name was carved on every person's heart, he ruled over them. He couldn't help but chuckle at the thought of him being a good ruler.

He slowly turned around, finally facing the people who stood behind him, who, meeting his eyes, couldn't hold back their tears any longer, and seemed to remember their youthful appearances. He chuckled once again, looking at them now, these people have grown into such amazing people by his side. For him, they were his little sisters and brothers, for others the kings and queens of their respective kingdoms.

Only ten kingdoms filled the continents in this world, no more, no less, a peace never to be broken, it all, started with a young man, the same man who right now, had so many cuts and burns that covered his handsome face. The same man wearing a tired expression in his eyes, brought terror, fear, and despair to his enemies and all those who stood before him, the one, who ruled all, was sitting there with a lonely yet satisfied look in his eyes, called for them to get closer with his hand. He smiled at their crying ugly faces, he didn't seem to have the strength to speak no more, there was no more to say between them, he already called for them separately before this day, knowing such a day would come.

"I shall take a short break," his deep voice slowly faded as he spoke, every one of them approached to hug him, they all felt like a hand pressed on their necks, suffocating them, yet they all smiled with their tears still flooding down their faces. The family hug lasted for a moment, before one by one they let go, all having a blank expression stuck on them, only one remained, holding the man, comes then the moment where he held him even tighter, trying to feel the last warmth the body exuded, made all of the others who held it in fall to their knees, their cries and screams shacked the whole world, the ground around trembled, feeling and hearing this the people below knew, he has passed.

It was a loud night, and even after so many hours, the second elder brother still held him tightly, his screams of agony never stopped, his now cracked voice made roars rather than screams, all of them felt the same, it was, painful, unfair. It took more hours for them to be able to breathe normally, to hold the funeral, and for them, to sit down on their knees, bowing their heads to his coffin. They all felt it, now it was truly up to them, each one of them made their vows and carved them in their hearts, standing next to each other, and their people behind them felt the change, it seems like, their kings and queens had grown up, once again.

Opening his eyes, "So this is what it feels like," looking at his baby hands.

"Here, a healthy boy," said a nurse holding him, handing him to a sweaty and breathless woman.

He looked at her red face, which teared up while smiling.

She was beautiful, he thought.

"It's mommy, you recognize me don't you," she said as she chuckled.

He kept staring and felt like the world paused around him.

I have a mother, he thought while his baby body started screaming, it couldn't handle his emotions.

"W-what's wrong with him?"

"It's normal, shake him gently."

"Oh, okay," doing as the woman said, those few seconds gave him the chance to organize his thoughts.

He stared at her again, a flash of the bad fate his parents went through in his past life when he was of young age, he could only smile inside with his sad heart, grateful, he was. Looking at his mother, this time, he will not regret anything, he swore.
